Sir von Lego Posted August 8, 2016 Posted August 8, 2016 (edited) Hi there, several years ago I got the chance to get my hands on some of the rare minfigs with pauldron and back printing from the Durch Garisson. They always were kind of a special item in my collection, but now that I want to reduce and sell my Star Wars Collection, I wonder if anyone ever saw someone selling them and could give me a hint, what they are worth? It is a normal stormtrooper with a back printing with the Logo of the Dutch Garisson and each minifigure has a different colored pauldron on his shoulder. Thank you for sharing your thoughts. Greetings Hendrik Edited August 8, 2016 by Sir von Lego Quote
Sir von Lego Posted August 8, 2016 Author Posted August 8, 2016 Sorry, have to correct something: 3 of them are actually from the German Garisson, and one from the Dutch one.. Will post pictures later..! Quote
HawkLord Posted August 8, 2016 Posted August 8, 2016 I've never heard of these nor have seen them. Do you know if there's any supporting material that showcases these? I'm not doubting you, but it would be easier to sell something like this with some type of info that substantiates it. Lego seems to make things like this periodically, but it's hard to track because they're one-shot items. Quote
menq Posted August 8, 2016 Posted August 8, 2016 (edited) Did you mean these Sir von Lego? I know the first three were commissioned from The Litte Arms Shop by LEGOLAND Germany and given to the German 501st Garrison in 2007. As far as I know the one on the right was made for the US 501st garrison. Edited August 8, 2016 by menq Quote
Sir von Lego Posted August 8, 2016 Author Posted August 8, 2016 (edited) Yes!! I don't have the US one but instead a Dutch one from Dutch Garisson.. Can you imagine (or give me a hint) if they were ever sold somewhere? Edited August 8, 2016 by Sir von Lego Quote
Sir von Lego Posted August 9, 2016 Author Posted August 9, 2016 Here we go, a picture of my minifigs:http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/SvL/Auctions/stormie1.jpg.jpg Quote
RetroInferno Posted August 9, 2016 Posted August 9, 2016 They must be worth a freacking ton of $$$. Never ever saw this on sale or anywhere else for that matter! Quote
menq Posted August 9, 2016 Posted August 9, 2016 (edited) I haven't seen them for a while, but they were for sale on eBay some time ago. I haven't seen the Dutch Garrison version before... and yes, they will be expensive Edited August 9, 2016 by menq Quote
HJR-Holland Posted August 11, 2016 Posted August 11, 2016 (edited) The guy that runs the little arms shop from the Netherlands, Hein-Jan Kemperman, is / was a 501st member and asked to make a run of these minifigs many years ago. According to him these are 'official' minifigs but I have never seen any evidence of that. So from my point of view these are custom minifigs with a printed backside and pauldron. They were sold exclusively to 501st members but a few made it to the general audience it seems. Being MOCs / customs I guess it's up to the buyer what they are worth, but I wouldn't overexaggerate the value of these... Edited August 11, 2016 by HJR-Holland Quote
Sir von Lego Posted August 11, 2016 Author Posted August 11, 2016 Does anyone of you has a hint for me in EUR? "Not too much", "very expensive" etc seems a bit too vague for me...(-; Greetings Quote
Nevada101 Posted August 11, 2016 Posted August 11, 2016 In Euros definitely no more than 150 each. I got mine for half that a year or so back. Quote
Sir von Lego Posted August 11, 2016 Author Posted August 11, 2016 Do you also Own the Dutch one? Quote
Nevada101 Posted August 11, 2016 Posted August 11, 2016 Yes I have one of each of the 6 variations. I bought them all from one collector. Quote
HJR-Holland Posted August 12, 2016 Posted August 12, 2016 Custom SW minifigs normally go for €25 - €40, depending on the parts used and the print. For a non-official LEGO minifig I'd say €150 is rather excessive... Quote
Sir von Lego Posted August 13, 2016 Author Posted August 13, 2016 40 EUR or less would be ridiculous. These are "semi-official" products like the promotional bricks von Legoland Germany with printing of German Garisson on the back. Back in 2007, they were about 150 EUR, so should be more now, right? Quote
Nevada101 Posted August 13, 2016 Posted August 13, 2016 Yes they are semi-official, so they should be worth a little more than regular custom figures. But not everything increases in value. I would say 150 EUR for each would be top. Like I said mine were around 80 EUR each last year and that was for a full set. Quote
Shawn Posted August 21, 2016 Posted August 21, 2016 (edited) Yes I have one of each of the 6 variations. I bought them all from one collector. Hi, What is the 6th variation? Us, Dutch, 3x German? I am only counting 5 in total. What is the 6th one? Edited August 21, 2016 by Shawn Quote
Shawn Posted August 21, 2016 Posted August 21, 2016 UK Garrison? Does anyone have a picture to confirm this? Quote
