Milan look awesome and excited in his first solo Technic Designer video. He must be very proud of his work. That shirt makes him look like a hospital patient though...

The eagle has landed. I repeat, the eagle has landed ?

Sweet!! I was hoping to receive the sets today, but apparently they had to visit Poland first

1) The A model: Notice the ''MR'' on the front bumper. The initials of Milan Reindl.

2) Seems like it uses 2 hard and 2 soft springs, or is it me? The B-model has 2 hard springs visible, those must be in the rear.

3) The B-model looks amazing too! Like many others, I originally was hyped about 42070 but 42069 really blows it out of the water, in my opinion.

4) They aren't really that rare. They were in the Volvo Excavator last year.

1) I sorta noticed that, it didn't strike my mind.

2) I sorta think they did one of each kind. In the video it seems like it.I

3) total agreement, think I shall skip all others, I thought 42066 was good, but 42069 destroys that thing!

4) I thought they were still rare, ok.

I'll be waiting, I am a unsubscribed follower of him, and I always find your or his reviews first.

The set has 4 soft springs and 2 hard springs. In the A model 2 soft + 2 hard are used for suspensions, and another 2 soft are used to keep the doors open. In the B model 4 softs are used for legs of the crane container, while 2 hard are used for container straps.

Loved the video for 42069. I dont buy lego for birthday or christmas anymore so I can get this one though i have a personal target to hit first. The B model is brilliant. I might actually make it.

Part no 56902/13971 wheel 18x8 don't appir in black yet. In your picture, least 2 of black wheel 18x8 include. And also black wedge belt wheel. I think 42069 is real flagship in this year.

Wouldn't that be cool if sales were public record?  See sales of 42069 vs. 42070 in like a year.  I would like to know how close AFOLS perception matches actual sales

42069 - Designer Video

Good find! But here's the confirmation that 42069 has no middle differential :cry_sad:

Well, i guess there's some modding to be done

If it had a middle diff, he couldnt front tracks wouldnt spin when he rotated the rear tracks.

exactly. Sorry i didn't point that out in my post. :sceptic:

For me personally, 42069 is the next in line of 8466, 8297, and 9398 (i'm still bummed out that i didn't get the last two)

Under Rallye car I am picturing something more like an Offroad car,

I guarantee you, any rally car TLG produces will be pullback.

This also confirms no gearbox for functions either. On the other hand, the doors are :thumbup:

Visiting Poland first is a tradition since 1939 ;)

The thing I loved most from the 42069 video was the fast winch. So many Lego winches are so damn slow. Realistic, maybe, but not fun to use. This one seems a decent speed.

Also, Milan is clearly (and rightfully!) proud of his creation. Both A+B models look like they'll be fun to play with.

It does have at least 2 hard yellow shocks and 4 soft grey ones. It can be seen on 1:20-1:23.
