Pray for the paper instructions! I work on the computers, I do not want to use them in the fun time. I also do not want kids to spend more time "on screens" than needed. Keep it in the real life, bro. I do not work on computers, but I spend more than enough time on them. I don't like my little ones looking at a screen all day either, but how much paper (cost) is used for making all these instructions? I'm not saying they should go away as I like to build from paper. If one doesn't have access to a device how do you put it together? The world has gone (mostly) digital, would LEGO leave the rest behind? Edited November 8, 2016 by pyro690 Messed up Quote
Maaboo the Witch Posted November 8, 2016 Posted November 8, 2016 Woah, the BMW got three whole pages of excitement! Bring on the rest! We're pumped! Quote

Gnac Posted November 8, 2016 Posted November 8, 2016 Looks like we're getting at least six o' these, which is nice: I was hoping that the handlebars would have some of those stupid-rare medium stone grey #4s though. Lawd when can this fule have his wants. Quote
schraubedrin Posted November 8, 2016 Posted November 8, 2016 The rear swing is an ingenious construction. I guess it took them some time to find a design incorporating bevel gears while being strong enough to support the bike. Have you seen the "40 years" print on the top of the box? it seems there's some kind of part ..? Quote

kbalage Posted November 8, 2016 Posted November 8, 2016 The rest of the sets are online as well: http://brickset.com/sets/year-2017/theme-Technic Quote
letsbuild Posted November 8, 2016 Posted November 8, 2016 42058 and 42059 have a ramp included in the set, the telehandler from 42062 looks pretty cute, 42064 is HUGE, and I want the tracked racer big time, even though it only uses m-motors. Quote
JJ2 Posted November 8, 2016 Posted November 8, 2016 Here are the pictures. I'm most interested in 42064, it looks like great parts pack. Quote
AOW Posted November 8, 2016 Posted November 8, 2016 yes, where is tele handler ? Deja vu of the Airport Rescue?? .. also have noticed that on each box have info on 40th anniversary ? Quote
Jonfensu Posted November 8, 2016 Posted November 8, 2016 (edited) 42058, 42059: Nice to see a ramp. Good donor of bionicle tooth and azure panels. The shape and looks is not good compared to the pullbacks of 1H 2016 42060: Remembers me to the construction crew of 2014. The truck has a considerable quantity of the "Pin with pin hole" piece and 7L Orange beams. Also comes with Two 9L Orange beams (!!!) . The whole model looks weird for an official Lego set 42061: Where is it? 42062: Really nice set as pieces donor: Orange parts, 5x7 frames, gear rack of 42043 in LGB, 5x11 panels . The telehandler looks cute. Seems to include the new piece that BMW uses for kickstand. The trucks looks really simple (Hope the trailer is build with 5x7 frames). Worries me the position of the HOG steering. I will add this to me wishlist 42063. A must buy (Also in my wishlist) 42064: Holy panels! a lot 3x11 panels in Dark blue and DBG. L panel in white. Seems to have 2 functions operated by two gears on top: For rotating the crane and (?). The small explorer also has 2 functions. The ship looks really well and huge! No PF upgrade 42065: Really nice PF pack. I was expecting 2 L motors but it would increase the price. That's the opportunity to get a transmitter and receiver for a low price. (Get two and you will be close to build the 8043) Definitely also in my wishlist. 42066. We need to see the official picture (!) We need prices! Edited November 8, 2016 by Jonfensu Quote
GoldVillage Posted November 8, 2016 Posted November 8, 2016 I think they might settled with one telehandler, the one in 42062. However, wheres pictures of the jet plane?! im hoping for 18945 panels in black Quote
Samolot Posted November 8, 2016 Posted November 8, 2016 42062 do we have this part https://rebrickable.com/parts/32126 in white ? 42058 this in yellow https://rebrickable.com/parts/41669 also great Quote
letsbuild Posted November 8, 2016 Posted November 8, 2016 I looked at the bow of 42064 and saw the red piece at the bottom. Does anyone know what part that is? Quote
offroadcreations Posted November 8, 2016 Posted November 8, 2016 I noticed that, too. I thought it might be this, but then I realized it couldn't be. Maybe it is an updated version? Quote
Nequmodiva Posted November 8, 2016 Posted November 8, 2016 Go to the source of the brickset images and you can see the B-models too! http://www.babyjoe.ch/index.php?searchparam=lego+technic&cl=search I guess Lego designers gave up and settled for "experimental" vehicles as B-model (42057 and 42063) , although latter one looks cool Quote
technic_addict Posted November 8, 2016 Posted November 8, 2016 if 42059 is in medium azure, then it looks like two panels which have never been that colour. I actually am hoping it is medium blue so we finally get panel #21 / #22 in medium blue. Quote

Jonfensu Posted November 9, 2016 Posted November 9, 2016 Hope the pictures are not so big After see this picture, I find this set as a fail in terms of functions/price. Looks good, great source of panels and it's big but functions are way simple for a 1327 pieces set. no In the other hand, the B model of the BMW looks so good, really good shape Is interesting to see the black Curved 3x7 panel that appears on 42056. I don't like the pneumatic hose as fool RC Antenna. I am not sure about final price. 80EUR for a 370 pieces set with that PF pack looks expensive. I would prefer pay 200 EUR forr a 8043 (second hand). Quote

Ngoc Nguyen Posted November 9, 2016 Posted November 9, 2016 (edited) The first time ever the B-model of a licensed set is not licensed! And it looks like abomination... The Ultralight Helicopter is designed by Lars, same designer of the Cargo Plane 42025. I don't know about you, but I think this guy's aircraft creations look awful. And it's more likely that Milan will be the designer of the Jet. Edited November 9, 2016 by nguyengiangoc Quote
Bartybum Posted November 9, 2016 Posted November 9, 2016 Just realising the fact that there are no new PF components. Why did people hype themselves up so much about "PF 2.0"??? As far as I know there was no reason to believe in its existence Quote
