vinchente000 Posted August 12, 2016 Posted August 12, 2016 This is something important I realized while shopping for nexo knight and star wars parts. Many of you know that you can scan the Nexo Shields on the app which makes them a nice addition to any collection. However I attempted and succeeded in scanning the shields over the product images on the sellers page. Here is proof: http://imgur.com/g03UG7z and another: http://imgur.com/qgXpeHR I did contact the seller and let him know and now i want to share this with you so that you do not get ripped off. Hope this helped anyone
Blondie-Wan Posted August 12, 2016 Posted August 12, 2016 (edited) How does it rip someone off if someone scans a shield? I don't understand... Edited August 12, 2016 by Blondie-Wan
telaruhn Posted August 12, 2016 Posted August 12, 2016 (edited) I think he means they don't have to buy the product to scan the content I mean is it that big a deal? How many people really use that app anyway? Will it affect their sale of the products? Probably not. Couldn't they just bring their tablet/mobile device into the store and scan the shields that are on the boxes? Edited August 12, 2016 by telaruhn
cimddwc Posted August 12, 2016 Posted August 12, 2016 (edited) How does it rip someone off if someone scans a shield? I don't understand... It would if each shield code were totally unique, i.e. different codes even in the same sets, and could only be used once. But since it's the same code for the same shield type, there's really nothing to rip off. Couldn't they just bring their tablet/mobile device into the store and scan the shields that are on the boxes? The box art contains only dummy codes, doesn't it? But they could just google... CM4Sci Posted August 12, 2016 Posted August 12, 2016 Yeah, the codes are there. Not a big deal, take a picture of one of the shields you own, upload it online, everyone can use it. There's a whole site for them too - http://www.spyrius.org/nexo/
