BrickJagger Posted August 14, 2016 Posted August 14, 2016 Impressive! I like how you build the crooked timbers. Quote
BrickCurve Posted August 14, 2016 Posted August 14, 2016 Very impressive design! It would be a good fit for GOH, have you considered joining? Quote
BrickShady Posted August 14, 2016 Posted August 14, 2016 Great watch tower. The roof design is nice! Quote
Thor Posted August 14, 2016 Author Posted August 14, 2016 Very impressive design! It would be a good fit for GOH, have you considered joining? I dont have so much time to be here on forum,so if you can explain it a little bit more, that will be cool.:D Thanks.:) Quote
Leonardo da Bricki Posted August 14, 2016 Posted August 14, 2016 Wow! The bent tower supports are great! And I like the roof. It looks like vented canvas. Quote
BrickCurve Posted August 14, 2016 Posted August 14, 2016 I dont have so much time to be here on forum,so if you can explain it a little bit more, that will be cool.:D Thanks.:) Certainly. This is the official description and introduction to the Guilds project: Hello fellow adventurer, it looks like you have decided to move to the land of Historica to join us in our quest to flesh out one of the greatest Lego stories ever told. I have prepared this guide to help “ease” you into the guilds project. Perhaps the first question we should answer is “What is the Guilds of Historica?” The simple answer is that it is a building community on Eurobricks that is open to all who wish to join. We tell stories about a land called Historica which currently has five guilds. Each member joins a guild, and builds to win points (Gold Darics) for their guild and to better their building skills. At any given time of the year there may be one or more building challenges that a builder may win recognition and sometimes prizes for themselves. The current official description by ZCerberus is: “The Guilds are a Castle MOCers paradise where builders can connect with other castle fans to build in a connected world of five distinct Guilds, each with their own territory, history, and geography. The world grows as builders compete in challenges to win prizes, enhance their building skills and progress the official lore of Historica. Guilds score gold by competing in challenges and by "free building" in their own guild to grow their world.” The complete intro topic to the Guilds can be found here- http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=83539. blackie Posted August 15, 2016 Posted August 15, 2016 This is absolutely great. In the moment the best "weird" tower (it remindes me of some orkish tribe or something similar) I have seen. I have to ask this: did you manage to build everything with "legal" LEGO building techniques? Quote
Thor Posted August 15, 2016 Author Posted August 15, 2016 Thx.:) I think that legs/4 stables of the tower are built with legal techniques, but i am not sure for the roof.:D Quote
TitusV Posted August 16, 2016 Posted August 16, 2016 Very Nice build, especially with All the angles! I also like the sand-base Quote
TheJiral Posted August 18, 2016 Posted August 18, 2016 This is ... awesome. Feels like there isn't a single straight line in there. Quote
ArchitectureFan Posted August 20, 2016 Posted August 20, 2016 Cool tower - action is well captured! Quote
