I think "standard" users only can have four badges. :look:

We might need to combine some of Jeroens tags

Are studded Technic models allowed?

Do the rules say they are not allowed?

No inspiration and the no size or parts limit kind of puts me off. Otherwise looking forward to see what people come up with.

I guess this is a good excuse to gut the Unimog.

It is 6 tags. I had to drop a tag to make room for a new tag when I was at six. Otherwise staff would have to make a new tag image by combining other tags into one.

Can you make custom pneumatic cylinders made out of system parts? also can you make a none lego air tank?

Can you make custom pneumatic cylinders made out of system parts?

How would that work?

Attention should be on Lego pneumatic system.

also can you make a none lego air tank?

If you mean 3rd party non Lego air tank, then no.

You can make anything you want using LEGO parts, 3rd party hoses, ropes and bands.

But like Milan said; let's focus on the pneumatic system.

Are we allowed to remove springs from the pumps?

In order to accomplish what? Driving hand pump with a motor, resulting in a more powerful motorized pump?

I think he means 3rd party airtanks, like in Lucio's Airport crash tender.

Let's stick to LEGO parts.

Remember....bigger is not always better. I for one really like the manually operated Volvo, because of it's "simplicity".

How would that work?

Not sure how that should work, but I agree we like to see creations, using the Pneumatic System.

Agreed.

You don't need to build big.

I guess to turn the hand-pump into a motorised pump without the additional resistance of springs.

An alternative would be to use two handpumps phase-shifted, negating the spring forces.

A quick question - what is the definition of "model"? Does it have to be a scale-model or can it be a generic MOC (of course with pneumatics)?

It can be anything you want.

That's basically what I said, right

I've only got one badge and all that does is tell everyone I'm an old fart

One badge....AND a title you mean :laugh::wink:

is it allowed to use a "motorpump" (like 42008 or 42043) as a handpump? i dont have a handpump like the volvo one. I don't see it forbidden in the rules but i would be sad if i get disqualified you knoww

Ah yes, remiss of me to forget the title. Thank you for pointing that out O' esteemed multiple badge holder :classic: :classic: :classic:

You don't need to build big.

I know. I think my avatar proves that for pneumatics, but if people have the option to build big, most of them will, which I find a pity.

My entries to contests have not been big. :classic:

Congratulations on the title. :devil::tongue:

Which is why I edited my post as you quoted it to "most of them will" :classic:

Why would you find that pity? What is wrong with building big? Each style has its own pros and cons, and each style its own challenges.

So if i already got a moc that is almost finnished but yet not

presented, can use that as an entry in this contest ?

It has pneumatics V2 and uses a handpump.

If it's not presented and it fits the rules, than you are a lucky bastard

That's why Jeroen has so many tags :wink:

(Just kidding of course, he definitely earned those)

Because I like small models? This is no secret since I have been on this forum. I can appreciate bigger pneumatic models like Jeroen's X-Wing but it's not something I'd go for myself.
