Gabi_BC Posted September 30, 2016 Posted September 30, 2016 Probably delivered in a box made from lego, that is then disassembled and used in this project, to keep delivery costs down. Quote

Edwin Korstanje Posted September 30, 2016 Author Posted September 30, 2016 (edited) It's all came in with letter post. For me is 25000 parts a small job , and my biggest project was for Damen Shipyard with a kit from the ASD with 469600 parts , but make a lot of BL sellers happy. J_C Posted October 7, 2016 Posted October 7, 2016 How do you move it? Is it structurally strong enough you (and probably few other helpers) lift it? Quote

All my ships are structurally strong enough to lift and transport by one piece and with this lady is it no different than my other ships. Because she is first display at Legoworld(Netherlands) from 18 till 24 October and than later next month at Brickmania(Belgium) 12 and 13 November and i make a 15mm multiplex box for her. Also after that she will find here way to the new owner and don't know where they wanted display here and thinks she must travel a lot.. The model stands so tight in the box that she can't move in any direction. Later on this week i will show you the box with the model insight. Edited October 7, 2016 by Edwin Korstanje Quote
brunojj1 Posted October 7, 2016 Posted October 7, 2016 You´ve finished this project already? Big applause, I love it !! Jaaps´ stickers is a must have for every Lego Dutchman ! Hopefully you will share some nice pictures of it? High resolution? I think in twilight it will look awesome with all the lights on board! I wish to make a trip on such a ship some day and till then stare at a wallpaper of the Lego version. Quote
