Capn Frank Posted August 21, 2016 Posted August 21, 2016 Come stroll the outskirts of Astrapi and view the beginnings of its farming community. Here is a small Grape Plantation. Thanks for looking. Quote
TitusV Posted August 22, 2016 Posted August 22, 2016 Great build with a pleasing colour-scheme, and it's very Nice that you put the grapes at an angle Quote
Ayrlego Posted August 22, 2016 Posted August 22, 2016 I really like your way of representing the grape vines - I'll be storing that technique up for future use! Quote
blackdeathgr Posted August 22, 2016 Posted August 22, 2016 Great one! I like it how each of us is building grape vines on his own way, as they are many ways to cultivate them (with vertical wooden sticks, horizontal ones, without sticks etc) A fine addition to our island! Quote
Dannylonglegs Posted August 22, 2016 Posted August 22, 2016 (edited) Great one! I like it how each of us is building grape vines on his own way, as they are many ways to cultivate them (with vertical wooden sticks, horizontal ones, without sticks etc) A fine addition to our island! I like that we're growing grapes so well on tropical Islands. Oleander innovation at its finest! Zeus has blessed this land and sent his son Dionysus to imbue our crops with preternatural vigour! Great work Phred! I like how you blended the grape plantation with the gravel road, and also the grape trellises are quite nice. I may have to make a vinyard myself at some point. It does seem to be the Oleander thing to do. ~Insectoid Aristocrat Edited August 22, 2016 by Dannylonglegs Quote
Capt Wolf Posted August 22, 2016 Posted August 22, 2016 Nice piece usage for the vines and supports. Instantly recognizable. Nice vineyard! Quote
Bregir Posted August 22, 2016 Posted August 22, 2016 The propensity amongst Oleanders for "vintnering" comes as no surprise to those who has seen how they handle their ships! ;) *hiccups* Lovely little vineyard vignette, Phred. I like the simple, but effective landscaping, and the odd angles you have included. The vines themselves are nice too. Quote
Captain Braunsfeld Posted August 23, 2016 Posted August 23, 2016 Good one! Makes me hungry (or thirsty, depending on point of view) Quote
