Shadows Posted February 13, 2008 Posted February 13, 2008 It's okay. I'll single myself out. Yes, seriously. :-| yourself. I edit capitals out of topic titles. It's annoying and it's poor internet etiquette, it's the equivalent of shouting. I'll continue to do it as well...Welcome to EB. Next you'll be editing titles in the customization forum to make them "more clear." :-| X-D (don't kid yourself, I'd be doing the all-capital ones as well) Clear and Polite Communication On! *y* Quote
Stauder Posted February 13, 2008 Posted February 13, 2008 2. Have Admins ever thought about receiving donations? I'd rather donate (via Paypal is easiest) to be able to post a larger (or even animated!) avatar, have access to more PMs etc. Donate to what? The server space is (As far as I know, hit me with a stick if Im wrong) not payed for by the staff, and your avatar can be bigger than that (Reslution wise, if you mean size wise, most people seem to have no problem, maybe try a different format? ) , regarding animated ones... >.< They are possible bust It annoys most people. Clear and Polite Communication On! Ill quote ya on that sometime when you are angry @ me... X-D Stauder Quote

Any place particular you want it? and your avatar can be bigger than that Bigger than what? regarding animated ones... >.< They are possible bust It annoys most people. Dadster Posted February 13, 2008 Posted February 13, 2008 (edited) It's okay. I'll single myself out. Yes, seriously. I edit capitals out of topic titles. It's annoying and it's poor internet etiquette, it's the equivalent of shouting. I'll continue to do it as well... I wasn't aware it was poor "internet etiquette". Not trying to be a smart-guy, but is it really? What are some others? (...legitimately curious...) Welcome to EB. Thanks! Maybe I'm just used to other forums and EB is still a little foreign (no pun intended) to me... @ Hobbes - Yes! I saw that one of the prerequisites for receiving a different/ higher title is that "...you know your Lego." Maybe it wasn't meant that way, but it reads like it... Took me a bit to find it - Knights achieved a 500+ post count and know their stuff when it comes to bricks. Edited February 13, 2008 by Dadster Quote
Stauder Posted February 13, 2008 Posted February 13, 2008 To whom, jipay is still human...OK, where can I hit you? Any place particular you want it? Why did I think the forum was hosted for free o.o In that case it is a splendid idea! :-) Also the chest, dont really mind there... Stauder Quote
Hobbes Posted February 13, 2008 Posted February 13, 2008 Why did I think the forum was hosted for free o.o Probably because it was. But there's not just web space, there's the domain name and the board software. Both ain't for free, either... Quote

Minifig Lecturer Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 I think it be nice if there was a section that allowed users to create a Personal User Page, that they could update as necessary, for links and pictures to and of their own MOCs. The Personal User Page would not be a forum as such and ideally not allow other users post their comments on it. Instead it would be a links page to e.g. the User's Brickshelf gallery Mocs or to Mocs/topics of interest of their on Eurobricks. Just my two pennies. Quote

Hobbes Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 I mean this.... Currently only us magic people can see it though. Its long term survival is a matter that hasn't been finalised yet. Oh, a thread... I see... it sounded like our own "MOC pages" for members... Quote
Shadows Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 I mean this.... Currently only us magic people can see it though. Its long term survival is a matter that hasn't been finalised yet. I'm currently not magical enough to see that. :'-( Couldn't one use their sig space to post their recent mocs and links to others, within reason? I mean, it isn't like you could shove a whole billboard down there, but a tasteful display of one's efforts wouldn't be bad at all. ;-) Quote

I might have even mentioned once that I took the entire idea of my billboard from your spamtastic beautiful sigs. *sweet* Quote

Hinckley Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 You don't have the magical keys to Limboland.... ;-) Not a chance. IMHO yours is too big. I was keeping yours in mind when I designed mine! X-D I recall that you used to have yours vertically... you recall wrong. Vertical hogs too much space. Or maybe I realized that when you started doing yours vertically... :-$ Yes, I think that's what happened... :-$ :-$ Quote
