Posted August 31, 20168 yr Now that Disney Infinity is gone the way of the Dinosaurs (sad…), the next logical destination for Lego Star Wars universe is- yeah, Lego Dimensions! With its rich history and rabid fans all around the world, we demand Star Wars! I mean Please~ :) Here’s a video of the minifigures lightsabering up in action- http://bit.ly/lego-dimensions-starwars Cheers~!
August 31, 20168 yr As far as I know there's not a single Disney property in Dimensions. It's very Warner Brothers and Universal heavy. I wouldn't be surprised if Disney refuse to allow inclusion of their properties. Edited August 31, 20168 yr by nikhkin
August 31, 20168 yr I wish! Disney already has Star Wars in a toys-to-life game, Disney Infinity. I doubt that they are going to let it go to LEGO.

September 1, 20168 yr Author Right, but, Disney has pulled the plug on Infinity. So, the door is open for Star Wars and Marvel to show up in Dimensions. But, so far nothing official! Jamie And when it come to demand and profitability with the Star Wars franchise, anything is possible. As they say, cash is king. Imagining Disney owning the Star Wars franchise 5-10 years ago, I didn't :\ Edited September 1, 20168 yr by toyforbob
September 3, 20168 yr I can see this happening, but I don't think we'll know about it until pretty close to release. I'd guess it's probably at least about a year away.
September 3, 20168 yr Bear in mind that Lego Star Wars games already exist, so if you're in dire need to play Star Wars in a Lego game, go play those. Same with Avengers. And Harry Potter and Indiana Jones. Plenty of Lego themes already in games other than Dimensions.

And Harry Potter and Indiana Jones. Plenty of Lego themes already in games other than Dimensions. The same can be said for some things that are in Dimensions already, like LEGO Batman and LEGO Lord of the Rings. Not the same as having all of the characters and builds in game and in hand for Dimensions. But yes, the existing games are good.
September 4, 20168 yr This has a high chance of happening, especially in year 3 of Dimensions! Disney will use every opportunity to capitalize on SW franchise and Dimensions is perfect place to do so. Now Marvel in Dimensions is totally different story, but SW will definitely happen sooner or later!
September 4, 20168 yr There was definitely a rumour last year from Sir Von Lego I believe, about Star Wars joining dimensions. Obviously, given the circumstances now, I imagine that will be the case. I wonder whether they'll slip any new/rare figures into the packs or whether they will put in regular characters.
September 5, 20168 yr I remember reading somewhere that lisencing conflicts forbids SW from being in dimensions. I read that some time ago through, and not sure if it was legit, but I wouldn't be surprised if there was some clause in their current contract along those lines.
September 5, 20168 yr I very much hope so! Not sure how much truths in the rumour but fingers crossed.
September 8, 20168 yr Star Wars and Marvel will never happen.Star Wars and Marvel couldn't even save Disney Infinity in sales what makes you think they will bring in more profit for Lego Dimensions? Star Wars and Marvel shouldn't be and are not needed in Lego Dimensions. To me the best part of Dimensions is that fact there are no Disney Properties in the game. I love Disney as a brand but they would ruin the game. Do you really think we would see Mission Impossible or The A-Team if Star Wars and Marvel were in the game? NO. Lego should do more Original licenses that haven't been in a Toys to life game before like Jaws, The Hobbit, Tom and Jerry, The Flintstones, Men in Black, and so on. I kinda hope Year 3 is all original brands that have never been in Lego but also Toys to life games.
