9v system Posted September 2, 2016 Posted September 2, 2016 (edited) hi all I am trying to design a small robust compressor and came up with a design that works well and uses hardly any parts pictures video Edited September 2, 2016 by 9v system Quote
agrof Posted September 2, 2016 Posted September 2, 2016 Wow, it is so compact, that it is barely to see, amazing! I think You miss something from the post. Quote
KamalMYafi Posted September 2, 2016 Posted September 2, 2016 I think You miss something from the post. Yep! A pictures and an Image. Quote
Jim Posted September 2, 2016 Posted September 2, 2016 Why did you post an empty topic? Is your creation the smallest and most robust compressor? Or will you be using it in a MOC for the contest? Quote
arshiaIQ Posted September 2, 2016 Posted September 2, 2016 I think you used pure white parts so nothing can be distinguished from the background Just like all A4 papers which all have a polar bear stuck in snow :D Quote
Kristof Posted September 2, 2016 Posted September 2, 2016 hmm... using all the superlatives in the title is dangerous. It only can make the perceprion of your creation worse. Quote
Edwin Korstanje Posted September 3, 2016 Posted September 3, 2016 hmm... using all the superlatives in the title is dangerous. It only can make the perceprion of your creation worse. The wheel is also invented many times Quote
Kristof Posted September 3, 2016 Posted September 3, 2016 Oh yes, but whenever someone presents an average wheel, perhaps even a bit worse than average wheels and call it 'worlds best and most round wheel', it makes me feel weird about it :) Quote
Sariel Posted September 3, 2016 Posted September 3, 2016 and uses hardly any parts Well, not to criticize, but it uses two precious 5x7 frames when it really needs zero of these. Examples: Quote
Jim Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 Is your creation the smallest and most robust compressor? Or will you be using it in a MOC for the contest? You didn't answer my question. Please do so. Quote
9v system Posted September 5, 2016 Author Posted September 5, 2016 You didn't answer my question. Please do so. well I wanted this to be my creation, I don't have anything else to use apart from akiyukis pneumatic module, I have designed it like this so it can be hand cranked and is sturdy enough to hold. Rockbrick Posted September 6, 2016 Posted September 6, 2016 nice creation and I don't see why not just compressors cannot be an entry.... (most entries will contain some sort of compressor anyway) but nice for the entry just to be the compressor Here is one I did with the RC motor with possible even less moving parts: Quote

Okay cool. Thanks for the clarification. nice creation and I don't see why not just compressors cannot be an entry.... (most entries will contain some sort of compressor anyway) but nice for the entry just to be the compressor It's definitely allowed. Quote
kolbjha Posted September 6, 2016 Posted September 6, 2016 Here is one I did with the RC motor with possible even less moving parts: Nice one! Thanks for sharing, think I will test out the same on my 8421. Quote
Rockbrick Posted September 6, 2016 Posted September 6, 2016 Nice one! Thanks for sharing, think I will test out the same on my 8421. It doesn't need an airtank it is that powerful... Back on topic: the OP hand cranked pumps is so beautifully simple I would love to see technic maxifigs attached to it doing the pumping....(probably their arms would break as always) Quote
