@hachiroku I've seen you say that many times, but I have to disagree. The UCS' cockpit fits 4 figures, the system scale one barely fits 2. Also your perspectives in "What a piece of junk" are off.

Wasn't 2014's Snowspeeder pretty decent scale too?

Nope, sadly most Snowspeeders are too large. It's supposed to be a really small vehicle.

TIEs are not far off either. :)

Let's not forget the bad guys.

I think TLG's TIE fighters have been a tad on the larger side, but it's a good thing.

Some sources [1] say a TIE should be 6m long and 8m tall. If minifig scale means 3 studs per meter, a TIE wing would be 18x24. TLG's model is 25x35, but the cockpit at that scale is very sturdy, compare to what can be done at smaller scales. (I've been tinkering with a smaller-scaled TIE MOC and it is fragile!)

I am amused at some of the artwork [2] because in ep.7 this fighter would grow to fit 2 occupants.

I am trying to work with a y-wing now. I am coming to the conclusion the mini figure scale and lego scale are two entirely different things. A scale y-wing should be about 75 studs long, almost double the size of the current release. A mini figure next to that size ship looks WAY off.  And don't forget about height.  The new a-wing looks good for a ship 10 feet high!  They don't look that tall in the films.  Lego builds them for play. Size matters not.  My advise, this isn't a competition, it's a hobby. Do what you love to do and don't get all caught up in the greebling. A nice looking ship is a nice looking ship no matter what size it is.

I've been significantly reducing my SW collection over the past few months and have only been keeping the sets I consider to be "minifig scale"...or close to it.

Of some of the current sets on sale right now, would you consider any of these to be minifig scale? Any other honorable mentions I'm missing (besides UCS S1 and MF)?
