Why do you come to EB?

We all have some reason we came to Eurobricks. I came here because I was fed up with the stupid topics and lack of maturity on the lego message board.

i wanted to talk with people who understand my intrests :-$ and the lego forum made no sence to me and it was so, americanized - not a bad thing, it just didn't suit me ;-)

I stumbled across this wonderful website while searching for new Lego sets, then I fell in love! *wub*

I browsed around on the website for awhile, seeing how cool some of the members are, I decided to join and make some friends.

That's my story.

Well, primarily because I wanted tot talk about Lego, and the pirate forum here is bigger than other websites, and the forum in general is not limited to just one theme, like FBTB (Which is not necessarily a bad thing) and finally I really like the community here, it is very friendly and funny.

Oh and please let's not turn this into another "because it is better than "site A" or because it is much more friendly than "site B" :-)

I first came here to look at all the new sets that were about to be released, then I finally signed up to answer a question-form that an ambassador had posted.

What's been keeping me here is that LUGNET has become somewhat drowsy. IMO these forums here are much easier to read, not a single page for each post.

But most importantly, I like it here. This site has a nice look, people are nice, friendly, helpful and have a sense of humor, news are fresh and up to date, and there are plenty of set-reviews. *y*

i heard it mentioned on bzp ( where im still not a member :-$ ) typed it in and holy ****! awesome! i still went to lego but there arent nearly as many options and it takes a while for your posts to go, and i joined after stalking and here i am!

I'm American, but found LugNet a bit tedious, FBTB OK, but Eurobricks, I think, has a better repoir among its members, not to mention the earliest looks at new LEGO sets, and news overall. Plus, I think it's interesting to see things from the European point of view. I'm an odd Yank, as I value history, architecture, science, as well as LEGO, Macross, and Transformers :-D over the latest antics of the Hollywood royalty.

Here's a little story for everyone ( :-P )

One day I was looking for AR stuff and happened to stumble upon this site I read some reviews , my first impression was, meh just another board. Many months later I was reading the BL forum and found a link to EB with the first Pics of Hoth Rebel base and Republic cruiser, that started it all, I lurked for awhile then joined and the rest is a history and a legend :-P :-D

I also found out this is great place to discuss my Hobby, read reviews, write reviews, post MOCs and make a few comics ;-) Plus the #1 spot for seeing Leaked Images :-D

Before I was looking for a good forum, but none were as great as EB *y*

Why do I keep coming back? The lovely community I feel comfortable in, friends, up to date news, and a good atmosphere. Not to mention a place to get (useful) critisizm on Mocs and share creations :-$

I love it here - also, this topic heavily reminds me of the now dying 'what I like about eurobricks' thread ;-)

well, I joined the forum before but I didn't come that often. Then there was that thread which kept on going more and more insane and never stopping.
