Posted September 9, 20168 yr Hi there guys, so I have finished another micro lansdcape moc. This time its the forest moon of Endor. I have tried to keep everything on a 16x16 base in keeping with my other micro landscapes. Does it look too packed though? I have been inspired by a few mocs already out there (2muchcaffine and sarah von noppenquader) but added a few elements of my own. I have built my shuttle in 'flight mode' as if it is taking off from the platform (with Luke and Vader on board!) However the wings do fold down and it fits onto the platform if I wanted to. I just prefer the composition of the piece with the shuttle higher up. This was actually a lot trickier than I thought it would be and this micro moc has gone through a lot of rebuilds to get it to a stage that I am happy with. Anyway as always would be great to know your thoughts and any advice, thanks! Edited September 9, 20168 yr by dimnico
September 9, 20168 yr Excellent work! So many Details crammed into a 16x16 plate - kudos! There is a lot of storytelling going on here from the AT-ST getting crushed to the shuttle taking off. Great AT-ST design btw! The way you have used the levers are inspiring Good job!

I really appreciate the feedback. With all my micro mocs I try to get some element of action or story in there, glad it hasnt gone unnoticed!
September 9, 20168 yr If you you were to make a "Part Two" of this moc, you could have a little Ewok village between a couple of trees and an micro AT-AT. Then you could place the two parts next to each other :)
September 9, 20168 yr I'd love to own something like that, I will have to try build one myself! Being honest I could see LEGO producing somthing similar as a Comic con or event exclusive
September 9, 20168 yr Too good. Well done mate, you made it look easy! Edited September 9, 20168 yr by bataleon

September 10, 20168 yr Building micro-scale models is my favorite Lego technique. It's a challenge, and you have finished on top this time. The layout, on such a small base, is excellent! The AT-ST walker is fantastic. I really like what you've done here, I've been wanting to make a micro Mos Eisley spaceport for a while, but haven't gotten around to it.

I've actually got a Mos eisley micro scene planned! I'll upload once it's done!
