Hip Posted September 10, 2016 Posted September 10, 2016 Hi guys, I am currently building the famous modular building "Green Grocer" and realised that I needed 50 1x8 sand green bricks, at 2.5$ each and the same goes to the 1x2. I was wondering if it was possible to paint some random 1x8 bricks and where to acquire the paint? Many thanks, Hip Quote
JopieK Posted September 10, 2016 Posted September 10, 2016 Maybe join a lug and hope to get them using LugBulk? Apart from that, often 1x4, 1x2, 1x6 in combination should also work of course! Quote
tkatt Posted September 10, 2016 Posted September 10, 2016 There are many alternatives to those parts if you don't want to spend the money on them. Replacing the 1x8s with 1x4s is easy. Many of the 1x8s are in the back, so if it doesn't bother you too much you can do the whole back in grey. As for the 1x2s with a groove, you can try the masonry style 1x2s or just regular 1x2s. You should check out this thread devoted to bricklinking modular buildings. It's long but worth reading. http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=90358&hl=%20bricklinking%20%20modulars%20%20sets&st=0 Quote
