Brickmaster Posted January 6, 2008 Posted January 6, 2008 The one time I went to New York, and went to FAO Schwarz, we searched all over for lego - then we finally asked someone, only to get the response 'we don't carry lego' it was like a punch in the eardrum :'-( . Well I see they changed their ways since then. :-| Quote
xwingyoda Posted January 6, 2008 Posted January 6, 2008 Tks for sharing JP-30 that awsome Indy sculpture !! I miss living in the Big Apple where you have 2 of the BEST toy shops ever: the classic TRU with its own Ferris Wheel (and loads of ...) and FAO SHwartz which is the historical super toy store ;-) One question though, why is Indy posing in front of Bionicle X-D *yoda* Quote
Vader Posted January 6, 2008 Posted January 6, 2008 Wow that is simply stunning!!! Cokmike your not the only one wanting one *wub* Quote
Aredhel Posted January 6, 2008 Posted January 6, 2008 Wow, that really looks awsome... I would want one too, but I would not have any place to place him... Or I would prefer Johnny Depp as such sculpture though... *wub* Aredhel Quote

SlyOwl Posted January 6, 2008 Posted January 6, 2008 Sweet! How is the whip done? - Brick-built or stringed-together round parts e.t.c...? SlyOwl Quote
Bobskink Posted January 6, 2008 Posted January 6, 2008 looks cool, but they could have idealised (is this correct Englisch?) him a bit more, bigger torso, smaller behind. Quote
blueandwhite Posted January 6, 2008 Posted January 6, 2008 Wonderful sculpture. It actually captures Harrison Ford's likeness quite well. I only wish I could my hands on some dark brown bricks. The colour is fantastic! Too bad that LEGO buyers only have the dwarf beard, a carrot and Indy's torso to choose from. That colour should be the new brown. It is infinitely better than reddish brown and probably the best new colour since tan. Quote
Scouty Posted January 6, 2008 Posted January 6, 2008 Brick-built or stringed-together round parts e.t.c...?SlyOwl It's actually a real whip, I think. Quote
Wout Posted January 7, 2008 Posted January 7, 2008 Awesome :-P :-D Awesome on! Thank you for the pictures. I don't know if I ever will be in New York, but if I will be there I will look for this store. :-) Quote
