Got my complete S17 at Toys'R'Us in Germany just today. Great series, they look even better than on the pictures.

Can someone tell me if the torso and legs on ? guy are green or bright green? I just need to know that because i am collecting monochrome minifigs. Thanx

and does anyone know if series 17 is available in austrian ?? toys'r us?

can't wait to grab them, it is one of the best series. Will definately get corn guy, rocket ? guy, vet ( love the color scheme and cute rabbit), yuppie ( cool figure), chef ( like the new hat hair combo, and ? pie) ? ( love the shark surfboard, figure is meh) , butterfly ?  girl , french guy ( love the french dog) , fitness girl ( just because of hairpiece) and my favourite one hot dog vendor ( he is the best one in this series, has great pieces and great printing)

I don't have any S17s yet  but Jang addresses that very question in his Youtube review. At about 45 seconds in, he says they're green, not bright green. The husk is bright green though.

How did you do the corn and other non-standard icons in your post?

Target let me down. They got more Batman in stock. BUT, my local ToysRUs got theirs out today! Three whole boxes! I picked up the 8 I wanted plus two doubles.

O, thank you, i am so happy it is green, now i will finally have a green monofigure complete. 

When i write a word on my iphone, the icons just pop out.

Toys R Us had a case today, so they line is spreading. I've got a set of white arms and this hair waiting for another Yuppie.

I got 30 packs today thanks to a Reddit Lego Minifigures Series 17 sightings post. It was a completely fresh case at Walmart.  I really hope the distribution on this series is as good as 16 was.

Got some in a small local store yesterday. Got the elven maiden twice, the corn guy, and the dance instructor twice, because I mistook her large hair piece. Quite happy, having my favorite already, and they were rather easy because of the sloped piece.

Didn't like the corn guy though, after realizing, that he is completely unprinted.

Yes finally found them in müller shops! Just had to make this photo, now my banana guy and hot dog guy have some company! 

I was also in lego shop, they have them in stock but aren't allowed to sell them :(

Have had nothing but bad luck in my neck of the woods, I've visited three Targets and four WalMarts but all of them REFUSE to put them out before the release date. But what really made me angry is After I checked brick seek, one of my local WalMarts that told me they wouldn't sell any before May 1st, apparently only has 2 left in stock, after a quick visit sure enough they had and almost empty box on the shelf (the two they had left were strongmen which don't appeal to me at all). It just really ticks me off that they refused to sell any to me yet somehow other people got their hands on them.

I am not much into this series, but on the side note: the "mystery" character isn't up to the hype... Come on LEGO, where are the new moulded lupins??!!

Received and sorted my box of 60 yesterday. 99% correct guess rate, except I thought there was an extra Highwayman. A second check revealed it was the missing Hotdog Vendor... had misfelt the hat. Looks like I will keep most the box for parts, and may attempt to onsell some.

Some really nice figs in this series. Standouts for me are the Butterfly girl, Chef and Rocket boy. But theres not a single one that isn't useful one way or another.

If anyone in Canada is looking for them I found a number of boxes at my local Toysrus. What surprised me was that they were $3.99 instead of $4.99, weren't these supposed to be the same price as the Batman minifigs?

Anybody having any issues with distribution in a box?  I bought a box today that had 1 rocket boy and elf girl, 7 corn man and cell phone dude, 2 veterinarian and retro spaceman, and 3-5 of everything else. So unfortunately I only got one complete set. And am 2 figs away from a second one. :(.

And it was sealed? If it was open it was the remnants of 2+ boxes.

if it WAS sealed, I wouldn't be shopping at that store any longer.

I it was sealed the "error" obviously happened at Lego and have noting to to with the shop that sold it
I say "error" since it is blind bags so even if you get a different distribution than most people, it is no point in complaining to Lego since the distribution suppose to be random

Someone on another forum said they saw Series 17 in a MYER store in Brisbane (didn't say which one) so for anyone in Oz, your local MYER is the place to look at this point.

Toys'r'us in Uxbridge, UK has them for sale. Got 7 and 2 duplicates as I miss felt them.

Just back from my local Toys R Us haul .. in my town there's a Smyth's toy store opened this weekend .. so my local Toys R Us is offering 20% off everything !! So with that 20% and my family staff member 20% discount I got 40% off these beauties .. so cost me £1.79 each.

We spent about 45 mins feeling for the ones I wanted ( family member finished her shift at 3pm so she wanted a lift home too ! ) 

Some hard ones to feel for, but also some easily identifiable ones .. Rocket Boy, Corn Cob Guy, Butterfly Girl .. the breadstick of the French Guy is a good part to find ( it's also a Fabuland breadstick )

Well I suppose I'd better get em open : ) 

( Anyone wondering why I didn't buy more with such a great deal .. Toys R Us can be a bit funny .. they said it's buying in bulk which they can't allow .. they only let me buy 18 with the Disney Series ! ) 

 

Ok so I bought 17 .. each one I felt was what I thought it was .. bought some intentional duplicates .. the printing on the Retro Spaceman is just brilliant .. Butterfly Girl is too cute ha ha .. not disappointed with any of them : )

Yeah,  so much for the May 1st release date. They're everywhere, especially Walmart. I put a few sets together over the past week and half and today I hit the jackpot at another Walmart with 3 new untouched cases. The distribution seems to be plentiful in this series. Target seems to be the only one following the release date (most Target stores).

Soon you'll be able to find them everywhere. The distribution in the last few series has been overwhelming. I still find Series 16 and the Batman series all the time and in large quantities. I even come across the Disney series from time to time. Ive noticed that Target is keeping a large amount of them at their checkout lines now too. This makes it a little more difficult when you're trying to find specific figures. Also, Ive seen and heard that a lot of Walmart's are putting them out this weekend.
