Maybe this has been suggested on this thread or elsewhere before, but has anyone taken Rocket Suit Boy's classic grey torso and made a classic spaceman with the Dark Bluish Grey hands plucked and replaced with Bright Blue ones, then given a Bright Blue racer helmet with Trans-yellow visor and Bright Blue air tanks. Now maybe most classic spacers like uniform colored spacemen, but this combination would match the CS vehicle color scheme nicely I think. :classic: The only thing we don't have that would work well with this spaceman design would be dual molded Light Bluish Grey legs with Bright Blue boots. :sceptic:

I hadn't thought of that, but I did order a couple of extra legs from Ringo in the Yellow Submarine set.  Waiting on them to arrive.  To illustrate my idea, here is the torso and the legs:

The legs are dark bluish grey, like the short legs he comes with, but the stripes should look cool with the Classic Space logo.  Add in epaulettes, perhaps, and he's more of a Space Captain to lead all of the other Classic Spacers.

Ohhh, that's a great idea! :sweet: I would like to see the results!

Ooh that would look sweet. And maybe with a stern face and a nice hairdo he's the captain of the ship. Nice

Has anyone else noticed that the Battle Dwarf is the first CMF to include two weapon accessories that are not identical?

I hadn't! I didnt really get into CMFs until about S12 though, so I don't really try to keep a mental catalog of everything ever produced.

I think he is my favorite from this series, though. He's a great character on his own, but he also has so many great accessories to swap in and out with other characters--the weapons, the wacky beard and mohawk, the printed arms, etc. He's a remarkably versatile fig for customizing and I am glad I managed to get a lot of him. :sweet:

I agree he is a well designed and very useful minifigure from this series.

Has anyone seen this series in Denmark? I can't find them anywhere... but loads of S16.

There were hardly any when they came for me, there's usually a few boxes but no only one box each in two shops, sold out fast so I didn't get all of the ones I wanted :(

I guess it depends on how you define a weapon. I know of a few people vs zombies MOCs where the butcher uses his T-bone along with the cleaver as a weapon, and the carpenter uses the saw and plank! Mind you, the zombies attack back with both a spade and a chicken leg.

There is also the Dino tracker, who has both a bow and a syringe.

This cracked me up.  Good observation.

Just had a thought regarding the Retro Space Hero's Blaster. That hole in it might be the right size for a minifigure hand to peg into.

Anyone care to try and see if that is true.

Just tried it, doesn't fit for me. You might be able to seriously force it but it would probably permanently alter the blaster.

Too small I take it?

So, I found this series at the local toy store (Intertoys) today... €4,49 per pack.

Screw that!

Intertoys is driving up those prices like a beast.

can't they understand that if those prices are so high, the sales will go down?

last series (tlbm) was 4€ overthere and i just bought only three figs because i really wanted those figs.

Honestly, what parent would buy their kids a couple of packs, without the feeling of being stabbed in the wallet? What's more: getting home and opening the packs, only to find out that those aren't the figs the kids wanted!

We are still talking about the Lobo whose name translates to "he who devours your entrails and thoroughly enjoys it", right? The same Lobo who killed Santa Claus?

Who would be next then? Judge Dredd? Sláine? Punisher? Preacher's Cassidy? ;)

So yeah, I guess I'd be willing to bet on it. Hmm, unless you know something ... But I guess this isn't the right thread for this kind of speculation, since we know he won't be a Series 17 CMF, at least. ;)

Here comes lobo....

Consider me timbers shivered.

I still think it's a bit hypocritical though. I'm always for over-the-top gratuitous violence, mind you, but what about TLG's core values? Now I want my Moe's Tavern too, damn it!
