I've been putting off taking my 2 Monster Fighters Haunted Houses apart and making bigger one.

Well, over the last couple of nights I decided that with Halloween next month, and Brick Palooza in November that I better get started!!

It's far from finished but I'm REALLY happy with how it's coming out! I need to make a handful of Bricklink orders, to fill in some roof gaps and add some windows but, as is, I think it's looking pretty darn good.

Your overall plan looks amazing! Are you designing an expanded interior as well?

The interior is still on the drawing board, but it is planned. I just need to get the exterior finished (same for a few of my other XL modulars) for an upcoming LEGO fan show in November.

I really like it! I was a bit worried at first because I have started something similar with 2 haunted houses to make one big one, but they're so different from each other! I really like your take on a larger one, the conservatory on the side (I think haunted houses need an eery conservatory!). I look forward to seeing this complete on the exterior and to see what stuff goes on with the interior :D

One question, and I think I can see the answer but I'm not entirely sure, have you made it so the floors separate, or does it open up as the original does? I've tried keeping g mine so it opens up but making it larger has presented it's problems on that front so I'm thinking of making removable floors instead...

I take it you spotted the tiles that separate each floor!

I loved that the original Haunted House opened like a doll house. But within my town layout the modular stacking just made more sense.

Well, since you're customizing the interior, there's lot of things you could add, such as full skeletons and spider webs. Keep us posted!
