That's probably the cause of it not showing up. I need to look into it. Thanks for the info. Can you try with Chrome or another newer browser? Here is another one... No outbox. I got the message sent notification for a message I sent last night, but no listing or even a "box" for it to be in. Firefox 49.0.1 (only browser I am comfortable with) on windows 7 (pro), desktop PC.
Tamas Juhasz Posted October 14, 2016 Posted October 14, 2016 (edited) I tried with newest chrome, all the same, "message sent appears", but the message is nowhere. (I sent to you, Jim, again) Edited October 14, 2016 by Tamas Juhasz
Captain Braunsfeld Posted October 15, 2016 Posted October 15, 2016 While it seems that most of the forum features are working, I just found that the follow-up pages to the front page are missing. I.e. when I want to jump to page 2 I get a "Not found on this server" error. Is it just me and my computer or is anybody experiencing the same effect?

And my old problem has reappeared: E-mail notifications don't work.

Ok, I was just going to say that everything works on a different computer... So the problem seems to be related to some user settings.
Sven J Posted October 15, 2016 Posted October 15, 2016 Ok, I was just going to say that everything works on a different computer... So the problem seems to be related to some user settings. It's working here on the same computer now. Only a temporary issue, it seems. But I just notice that when you quote someone, the headline "... ago, XXX wrote" isn't there anymore, so it's hard for other readers to see who wrote the original post.

Legostone Posted October 15, 2016 Posted October 15, 2016 Whenever I click on a linked topic in another topic I now get sent to the Portal, that shouldn't be like that, should it?

Seems the link structure or whatever it's called got changed again Used to be: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/forums/topic/140543-forum-upgrade/&page=16 Is now: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/topic/140543-forum-upgrade/&page=16 Any chance this gets adapted automatically eventually?
Jim Posted October 15, 2016 Posted October 15, 2016 It's an error resulting from a new upgrade :( We're working on it. Thanks for reporting.

Seems the link error when clicking on "Forums" in the breadcrumb bar is connected to this one. It should give you an overview of the forums, instead you're redirected to the landing page as well. I use that very often, good to know you're on it Edit: Just realized that clicking on "Home" redirects you to "Forums"... Edited October 18, 2016 by Capparezza
Flipz Posted October 18, 2016 Posted October 18, 2016 Say, is there any chance the color of the "topic read" brick could be changed? With the old icon, I could easily tell which topics I'd posted in had new posts and which ones couldn't, but now the colors are just similar enough to trip me up. A minor gripe, to be sure, but it is frustrating, especially on desktop (my phone screen seems slightly better for differentiating those particular colors...or maybe it's just that I can hold it closer to my face and zoom in to see more clearly ).

It is the exact same difference in color as the old board.

I don't have a great screenshot of the old board, but the difference in color should be visible enough from Firefox's cached thumbnail: The "unread" icon seems about the same color as on the old board (though you can't see it here), but the "you've already read this topic that you posted in" icon definitely seems different--as I recall, the "already read" indicator was a lot darker and less saturated, almost gray compared to the brighter version for "unread messages in this topic you've posted in". Like I said, though, it's only a minor gripe, but since we're still in the process of tweaking things I thought I'd bring it up.
Robert8 Posted October 18, 2016 Posted October 18, 2016 Hi I was trying to change my signature pic but it seems I can't attach it to a post anymore. I mean, I click the option, the window appears, I paste the link, and then I click "Insert into post" but nothing happens. Maybe I'm doing something wrong? Thanks in advance for any help provided.
JJ2 Posted October 18, 2016 Posted October 18, 2016 Are you planning on giving the different sub-forums their own banners like they used to have?

L@go Posted October 18, 2016 Posted October 18, 2016 Out of curiosity, is there a reason why the 'new posts' brick was changed from a strong yellow colour to the pale light yellow it has now? To me, the colour that now stands out the most on the forum pages is the blue 'already read' brick - which seems a bit counter-intuitive. I will always be more interested in the posts I haven't read than the posts I have read - so from that perspective the 'new posts' colour should be at least as eye-catching, if not more, than the 'already read' colour. Right?

x105Black Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 Just wanted to say I've noticed some more updates, and the site is looking better. No more double ranks on the profiles, that's nice. Looking forward to the themed banners. Keep up the good work! One complaint: could the line that separates the posts from the signatures be made more prominent? Now that the signature font color has become darker (or people are darkening it, not sure which), it is more difficult to tell a post from a signature because the light grey line is barely visible. Anyways, good job everyone! Thanks a lot for all of the hard work.
Rotundus Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 Just as a question here... Is anyone addressing the issue with the PM system not echoing sent PM's? (As in an outbox and all of its functionality.)

You will need to focus on building LEGO models
