Tis' true, I do not consider 'rarer' better just because it is 'rarer'... Plus this is my post, and I consider the SES as the only Holy Grail in the Pirate line ;) So keep guessing... :-D

There you go with 'the rarer makes it better' again... You just can't compare pirates perilous pitfall with the imperial trading post, eldorado fortress, and especially the SES... maybe that is just me...

Mind you I don't have the ppp (yet ;) ) while I do have the other 3, so perhaps that clouds my judgement...

I didn't write "rarer is better" either, nor I rank the sets in any particular order. I noted that Pirates Perilous Pitfall was a personal holy grail that happened to be rarer. I'm not sure that many see Pirates Perilous Pitfall as a holy grail either. From what I've gathered it isn't as commonly known (apparently it wasn't released world wide) as the other sets mentioned therefore awareness of existence isn't as great. As I recall it was among the last of the Pirate sets I discovered and I was rather fascinated by it.

I must say Pirates Perilious Pitfall is more interesting the Imperial Trading Post... The Imperial Trading Post doesn't seem to be all that it can be... Its lacking something... The structures upon it seem to diminutive. Pirates Perilous Pitfall also has interesting features like the bolder trap and alligator pit trap.

The Skulls Eye Schooner is probably the best of them all, but its not the same comparing a land based set to a vehicle or boat set. Still, SES would be ranked as the number 1 Holy Grail of the Pirate theme now that the Black Seas Barracuda has become a Legend.

I was just refering to the last rarer reference ;) , I knew what you meant... I also agree that the ITP is lacking structure... that is why I like Eldorado fortress better...

You like to brag don't you? Well so do I!!! Just wait till I get a digital camera...

Yes! I think we should penalize him ;) . Every show-off photo not followed by a MOC in, say, a 3hr grace window :-D compels him to provide me with a black falcon (from his ample supply :o ) and you with a pirate or cannon. What do you say?

Ahh yes, but I could probably do that for quite a few days considering I have three of these:

Unfortunately, with an often hectic work schedule & a family, I do not typically have the time to work on MOCs... Some day though... :-D

I say I agree with you 100%, but 3 hours is a bit generous don't you think?

That reminds me, we still haven't worked out the other sets he got, have we?

Well,

They aren't new MOCs (and therefore weren't made in your 3 hr window...) but that aside the blatant rip off of my own work should easily double the penalty :-D ....

I've lost where you two are going... Anyway... Back to our mystery...

We've comfirmed your "Holy Grail" for castle is set 375 and the other sets are NOT Skulls Eye Schooner, Eldorado Fortress or Imperial Trading Post.

Can provide anymore clues? Like the number of Pirate and Castle sets. I don't want to keep guessing Castle sets if that's the only one to guess.

Yes, I can provide more clues... I have received a total of 4 Castle sets, and 2 Pirate sets, as well as 'other items'... which, if you have seen other pics Ihave posted around here, you have seen many of them... so here's the rest of the 'other items':

Now all you have left to guess on is the sets (which one has already been guessed ;) )

...& go!

1) It includes both LEGO Pirates & Castle items...

2) There are 4 'sets' in total (as well as other items...)...

3) I have wanted two of these sets for many, many years...

WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAIT a minute...

In your inital post you said "There are 4 'sets' in total" but now you're saying "4 Castle sets, and 2 Pirate sets"

Have you acquired an additional 2 sets since the time of posting those hints, or is that a typographical error?

The answer is "yes", I have received 2 additional sets since the beginning of this post :-D

So one of the initial 4 have been guessed (375 Castle), there are three more from that group, as well as two additional sets that I received about a week ago *satis* So you can either continue to guess the initial three left, or go for the full "received" group ;)

...& begin!!

I never said that the Pirate sets were ones that I did not have previously ;) But to give you a hint, I already had one of them, but one is my first of that set :-D

In the Castle realm, I got three that I never had (including 375), and one that I did not have (until now :) )
