rodiziorobs Posted October 27, 2016 Posted October 27, 2016 That plane is something else. I loooove the shape and the design on the wings, although I do wonder about the Kawashita paint job... Quote
mediumsnowman Posted October 27, 2016 Posted October 27, 2016 It's amazing that the plane is still operational after nearly 2000 years... Quote

I loooove the shape and the design on the wings, although I do wonder about the Kawashita paint job... the colour scheme remind the Kawashita one but for me it is merely the colours of the Brandebourg family, weared by the Gotha IV "Kastas" leader which mission was the Bombing of London in 1917 "Kastas" stands for bomber squadron For Example : the following plane was this of the captain Ernst Brandebourg commander of the "Kagohl" 3 ( Kagohl stands for bombing group, composed of 6 squadrons) that's a pics of the plane : There was 2 Brandebourg among the Kastas leader of Kagohl 3 and I think I have copy the colour from the second plane which I can't get the picture back ( it is in one of my countless remote hard drive but not easy to reach I'm afraid) The plane is at scale according to the fact I assume that a stud is about 33 cm. It is 76 x 44 studs that's why I had trouble to have a background full of lego... the plane is very large... Just wait for the boat that will follow which is beyond the 100 studs long (could easily qualify for a SHIPtember) this next time the background will be poor too... Mesabi Posted October 28, 2016 Posted October 28, 2016 (edited) Very nice build! As a WW1 buff I love it! I'm guessing battlefield 1 was on your mind while building it. Edited October 28, 2016 by Mesabi Quote
Professor Thaum Posted October 29, 2016 Author Posted October 29, 2016 Sorry, I'm just a fan of WWI planes... I don't even know what battlefield 1 was before you write about it and then I search on the web... and what I read about was really not a plebiscite Quote
