pedro Posted January 11, 2008 Posted January 11, 2008 Great display! The under-lighting makes everything look really nice :-) Quote
Plural Posted January 11, 2008 Posted January 11, 2008 It's great and all but I'm such a nerd that I can't get over the fact the rebels have the visors missing from their helmets. X-D Quote

X-D Speaking of that, does anyone know what the Rebel Visor is really for? Since you cant really use it, its connected to the helmet! :-D Quote
KimT Posted January 11, 2008 Posted January 11, 2008 It's great and all but I'm such a nerd that I can't get over the fact the rebels have the visors missing from their helmets. X-D Agreed *n* *n* *n* I guess the guy who forgot the visors had to get a lot of "my-bad-beers" for his fellow co-workers X-D KimT Quote
Shadows Posted January 11, 2008 Posted January 11, 2008 The rebels with their bobsled have visors, someone just got lazy on the bulk army portion. It's also interesting to note that there are far more of the long rifles displayed than the pistols, even though they come in even quantities in the sets. Speaking of that, does anyone know what the Rebel Visor is really for? Since you cant really use it, its connected to the helmet! :-D The visor on the LEGO version just serves to create the look of the real helmets. The real ones would be moveable, I assume (though they may have just been there to create the look for the movie and couldn't be moved either). Quote
Clonecommando007 Posted January 11, 2008 Posted January 11, 2008 You know the one thing that army reminds me of? Dominos. :-D Quote

Brickadier General Posted January 11, 2008 Posted January 11, 2008 What do they do with the displays after they're done with them. Do they get to keep them or do they have to give them back to Lego. If they get to keep them, I'd love working at that TRU. Then I could hawk all those figs on e-bay. ;-) Quote
Wout Posted January 12, 2008 Posted January 12, 2008 Great display. In the map above are more pictures of new 2008 displays. Quote
Eothein Posted January 12, 2008 Posted January 12, 2008 Wow now that's impressive although I must point out the person who put it together must have a lot of patience since they could all easily fall down. I call here all the Quote
Brickmaster Posted January 12, 2008 Posted January 12, 2008 (edited) I always wonder what happens to all the lego in displays at target and Tru, after they take them down. Other than theyre covered in hot glue, I dont think they would ask if anyone wanted them, as with alot of places if theres unopened sets of them, theyd rather not give them away (they want monies!) so they probably just throw them away :-| As like here, im sure theres hot glue all over this display; there always is.
