[LDD MOC] New Mixel Tribe: Voodums

Mixels Aren't Dead... Kinda...

Greetings and Salutations, And Happy Late Halloween, Fellow Eurobrickers! Today I present to you my very own Mixel Tribe, and indeed, a very spooky and Halloween themed one indeed. So, without any further ado, meet the mysterious Voodums tribe

From left to right, we have: Ghooly, The leader: Baron Zom-Zom, and Mo Joe. As you see, the overall theme of the Tribe is Black Magic, Necromancy, and, of course, Voodoo, hence their name. The colorscheme is Black, Purple and Dark Green, with creepy Glow-in-the-dark addons, and a little bit of gold. At first glance, they might seem stiff and cold, but when you get to know them, they may become your friends to die for...

 

Baron Zom-Zom is the Leader. He's a skilled magician, but don't expect him to pull out a rabbit (at least a live one) from his fancy top hat. He may be a little grim, but what would you expect from someone who lived all his life in gloomy marshes? Zom-Zom never is seen without his magic wand, which is the source of his Voodoo powers.

Ghooly is the life of any party, even though he's nothing more than a walking coffin. He is also constantly hungry. Hungry for what? You don't want to know. All I can say, it begins with B, ends with a S, and it rhymes with Grains...

Mo Joe may wear a headdress made of bones, but he ain't no bonehead, oh, no, in fact, he's so smart, he has a degree of a doctor, a witchdoctor that is. As Zom-Zom's assisstant, he is responsible for making all the wicked concoctions and talismans the Voodums use in their dark rituals. And, If you ask him politely, he'll show you his Snake Dance!

 

And, as a bonus, here's a small zombified Nixel.

Maybe Someday I'll design a Max, and concerning the piece count:

Baron Zom-Zom: 69 Bricks

Ghooly: 61 Bricks

Mo Joe: 66 Bricks

Zombie Nixel: 11 Bricks.

Love this tribe, so dark and sinister 

Baron Zom Zom looks amazing. Love the colors, the hat and the scepter. 

Moe Joe looks good too

Hey can you show how you did the head construction on  Baron Zom-Zom?

@Takanuinuva Why, It's pretty easy and straightforward:

1. Take two 1x2 inverted half-bows:

2. Then on top of the lower studs of halfbows put a 1x2 plate with ball socket in the middle:

3. Next, connect that old skull piece, you know the one, and connect it via it's Technic pins to 1x4 brick with Technic Holes:

4. And put them on top of previous assembly, so that the 1x4 will sit on the plate with socket:

5. On top of the 1x4 brick with holes put a regular 1x4:

6. and then put two 1x2 sloped bricks on top of that,

7. Add eyes, hat, and you're done! The head is connected to a 2x2 plate with ball, that's the part of the torso:

I've combined them into some sort of arachnid creature, pretty spooky, huh? Also, the Zombie Nixel stole Baron Zom-Zom's hat...
