airsoftg36c Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011 A Charlie and the Chocolate Factory line would be pretty cool too! Quote
lightningtiger Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011 We better be careful what we suggest, Knex scored American Chopper and M%^&$B#$^ scored The Smurfs ! Now something kids would go crazy over, Motogp - a great way to custom all those police motorcycles into racing bikes ! If it's old tv shows making the suggestion list.....Emergency - a 1970's series about a fire station and hospital working together to save lives.....now who wouldn't want a UCS of this... Keep on suggesting ! Quote

lightningtiger Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011 Knex also made mario kart Yep, know that one too....sad eh ? If racing is what kids want....V8 Supercar......GM vs Ford.... Keep those suggestions comming ! Quote
tin7_creations Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011 Ya, a lot of the good children themes are taken K'nex: Mario Kart MegaBloks: Smurfs, Hello Kitty, etc Hasbro: Transformers Megabloks also has Marvel. Maybe LEGO can get Capcom. Or LEGO can use there Disney license to get Marvel, and then get Capcom, and then they can have Marvel vs. Capcom. Quote
George G. Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 It would be cool if Lego made Transformers, but more AFOL friendly with big price-tags, big pieces, thick instruction manuals and huge chunks of greebling Of course they would have to properly transform... not like those MegaBlo*s ones that you had to take apart the robot and rebuild it into the car Possible ideas: - G1 Optimus Prime + Movie version - G1 Megatron + Movie version - G1 Jazz + Movie version - G1 Bumblebee + Movie version Alternitavly, following the Disney lisence, TRON legacy ! You good make loads of great sets out of that: - Light Cycle Battle - £59.99 4 cycles, the grid thing they drive on, bleechers and the podium that Clu (?) sits on. Figs: Clu, 2 Gaurds, Sam, 1 blue guy and 2 orange guys - Flynn's Mountain House - £30.99 simple house building, old light cycle and light runner. Figs: Sam, papa Flynn ( ) and that woman. - Night Club - £25.99 Bar, bar stools and daft punk on the decks! Sam, the woman, the white hair guy and a DJ. - Disc Duel - £14.99 Small base and some sort of flinging function to make the guys' discs fly at eachother. Figs: Sam, 1 Blue guy and 1 red Gaurd. - Recogniser - £39.99 The ship and the thing that the prisoners are attached too. Also, a little few piece prison cell that would boost the piece count a tad Figs: 1 red pilot, 2 red Gaurds, Sam, 2 Blue guys. Quote
lightningtiger Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 Sadly, both are never ! Tron didn't take off and Transformers are as glued to Haspro like Star Wars is glued to Lego ! Keep on suggesting ! Quote
Omicron Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 Tron didn't take off The Tron franchise isn't even over. There is a show coming out next year on Disney. -Omi Quote
lightningtiger Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 The Tron franchise isn't even over. There is a show coming out next year on Disney. -Omi Toys for the last movie - all on clearance, I say fail with kids - they just doubled their money spent on the film - normally 380 million is great takings, but 170 million spent to make it - MEH ! Profit yes, but compare a Muppet movie costing only 5 million bringing in 38 million, the return ratio is better....from 2 fold to 7 fold....compare 380mil. to 1.3bil. - now we know why we see so many Disney films ! Speaking of which and back on topic, why not The Muppets, well since this site has gone pink ! Quote
Omicron Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 Toys for the last movie - all on clearance Everything is on clearance these days. :P -Omi Quote
ameline Posted April 2, 2011 Posted April 2, 2011 Stargate is a theme I always wanted to see but now that Universe has been cancelled that will never happen. Star Trek would be cool to go along with the reboot. I also think any of the Disney/Pixar films could provide some really cool playsets (the door vault from Monsters Inc, the bug circus from Bug's Life) and it might be a way to pull some more young girls into playing with Lego. Quote
lightningtiger Posted April 2, 2011 Posted April 2, 2011 Well, with Monsters you might get your wish 'ameline', as next year I believe Monsters University will be released. Monsters University information Keep on scaring ! Quote
city boy Posted April 3, 2011 Posted April 3, 2011 How about discovery channel shows like:dirty job's, swamp loggers, myth busters, and gold rush Alaska/ flying wild Alaska. The first three are shows that family's watch together. Quote
lightningtiger Posted April 3, 2011 Posted April 3, 2011 How come people are making suggestions for adults not children again, meh.....Survivor ? More like Total Drama Island would be better, but it depends on worldwide popularity for a series or film to give Lego cause to produce sets. Think a little like when you were ten, what would a ten year old be interested in ? Keep on suggesting ! Quote

lightningtiger Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 Total Drama would be OK. Maybe they will do Mario Bros. or Zelda or Lion King or something. Sorry Mario Bros belong to another brick maker the name slips my mind at the moment, Lion King - only a new film maybe, though after 2 straight to DVD releases - don't think so ! Keep on suggesting ! Tazmaniac Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 The problem with suggesting things from our/my childhood is that kids these days would have never heard of "Banana Man", "Dangermouse" and "Voltron" to name a few. Something that LEGO could have a lot of fun with are the houses from "Up", "Despicable me" , "Monster house"ect. Though many different licences would be required to complete the street. I'm planning a Moc from one of the above. Quote
lightningtiger Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 Hey, 'TazManiac'....I can go one better...... How about Kitten Kong ! Keep those suggestions comming ! Quote
Pandora Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 How come people are making suggestions for adults not children again, meh.....Survivor ? I understand where you're coming from, lightningtiger, but I thought this was not so much about what LEGO could do, but rather what each of us would love them to do in our wildest dreams. So surely all suggestions are equally valid? Quote
Connect-A-Owen4000 Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 At least there's Looney Toons, Beavis & Butthead, Transformers, & Power Rangers. Those are some ideas that I suggest. Quote
Tazmaniac Posted April 5, 2011 Posted April 5, 2011 Hey, 'TazManiac'....I can go one better...... How about Kitten Kong ! Keep those suggestions comming ! Off topic fun fact, those muppets pictured above did all the voices in Banana Man. Quote
lightningtiger Posted April 5, 2011 Posted April 5, 2011 Off topic fun fact, those muppets pictured above did all the voices in Banana Man. Yes, that is so true and they are still friends with Tim and Graeme working still on BBC radio together while Bill works on his nature doco's. Back on topic, when it comes to cartoon or children's tv shows a world wide following is required otherwise Lego will be wasting their money again.....remember Speed Racer ! Brick On Suggest On !
