Lothos Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 Sets based off of the first 6 Dragonlance books, and not the time of the twins series. Dragons of blah blah. Epic fantasy setting with nifty castle elements, also half elves, and dragons, also dwarves, and kender. Quote
Cube1701 Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 As I said before most of my dream licenses are already reality: PotC was my nr. 1, followed by TMHT which also happened. The only theme that I really would like is 'Nintendo'. Too bad K'nex has the license and aren't using it at it's full potential. Or do the only have the Mario license? Hopefully LEGO is aware that after 3 projects on Cuusoo, it has a large enough consumer's market... Well, if the answer for the Zelda license was a straight up "no" from Nintendo, they probably would have added it to the list of licenses you can't upload to Cuusoo. The previous two Zelda sets were pretty much "here are some Zelda minifigures" with the set being an afterthought, and were likely rejected due to that. The latest one is designed to be a set, with plenty of action features, so I think it has a much better chance, but there's still the problem with one molded piece, but hopefully Nintendo will make an exception. Dorayaki Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 (edited) Well just imagine that in 2010 you put a LotR Cuusoo project that is exactly same as our current physical sets, and you got rejected as result, because most of the parts didn't even exist during that time. The only way to make perfect Zelda sets is waiting for cooperation between Nintendo and LotR.Before that, I guess Cuusoo projects fit in those licenses that characters are just simply portrayed by normal actors, like BTTF, BigBangTheory and Doctor Who. Larger monsters like Stay Puft Marshmallow Man are not allowed, unless they can be brickbuilt. But now GB heroes have nobody to fight with (invade Monster Fighters?). LK901 Posted March 23, 2015 Posted March 23, 2015 Can I revive this topic? Anyway, I'd love Malazan Book of the Fallen, Tintin and Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy sets. Or, maybe Discworld?! Quote
VictorFrenchFries Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 (edited) James Bond would be cool, kinda like Doctor Who. Since the release of the Delorean and the Ecto-1, I would like to add more classic TV and Movie vehicles like the A-Team van, the Green Hornet car, the Austin Powers car, and the Dumb and Dumber Mutt Cuts van, just to name a few. For full license themes, I feel like the only remaining franchises are the Hunger Games and...Terminator! Imagine having a T-1000 and a Arnold Schwarzenegger with all the Trucks that they use. kevkipo Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 I kinda like to see HTTYD, i wanna see if it works out or not Quote
Douglas_Jon Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 The A-Team Van would be a great set alongside the Ghostbusters and Back To The Future sets. I would also love a Nintendo theme (specifically Pokemon), and Shonen Jump (Bleach, Naruto, Dragon Ball). Quote
Pineapple Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 These would probably never happen, but here is my list. 1. Starcraft 2. Exo-Squad / Robotech / Mech Warrior 3. Military (Air Force, Army, Navy) Quote
just2good Posted March 28, 2015 Posted March 28, 2015 I would also love a Nintendo theme (specifically Pokemon) Nintendo is last of my trifecta of childhood dream themes to come true (Toy Story, The Simpsons...) and I really hope it does at one point. Just call it the World of Nintendo theme, like Jakks toys has. Make it like Super Heroes. Bam. Quote
Chookdude Posted March 28, 2015 Posted March 28, 2015 I'd love to see a walking dead theme but I know it will never happen Quote
Douglas_Jon Posted March 28, 2015 Posted March 28, 2015 Nintendo is last of my trifecta of childhood dream themes to come true (Toy Story, The Simpsons...) and I really hope it does at one point. Just call it the World of Nintendo theme, like Jakks toys has. Make it like Super Heroes. Bam. Same here, Toy Story and Simpsons were perfect for me, all I need now is a connected Nintendo theme (sort of like Smash bros) so that Lego can produce say 5 or 6 sets with a selection of different Nintendo characters in each. With maybe 3 of those sets being strictly only Mario, Zelda and Pokemon? Quote
Sir Gareth Posted March 28, 2015 Posted March 28, 2015 I'm content. Both of my childhood dream themes already came true (Marvel Super Heroes and the Lord of the Rings). Quote
legofreak86 Posted March 29, 2015 Posted March 29, 2015 (edited) I'd like to see a James Bond theme. Yeah James bond would be awesome! Also do Sherlock Holmes (either classic or BBC Sherlock) and then we'd have the whole set of British heroes: Potter, Doctor, Bond and Holmes. Pity they aren't already doing bond with Spectre coming along now, they could do like a set for each bond actor in a recap wave, then they could do Spectre sets! That'd be cool! Another cool one that could work off the top of my head: Mission Impossible. Edited March 29, 2015 by legofreak86 Quote
Dorayaki Posted March 29, 2015 Posted March 29, 2015 (edited) I'm not sure James Bond is appealing to kids. It's not about violence and flirting nature, but I assume that LEGO's original Agent themes work better than a pure and realistic spy theme. Indiana Jones can be simplified as a pure adventure theme and Jurassic Park relates to simply hunting dinos, which both cater to the general kids' market without highlighting the bloody violence. Nintendo currently cooperates with K'Nex which has a different building toy system, so unless they end like COBI's Scooby, that wouldn't happen in LEGO. Edited March 29, 2015 by Dorayaki Quote
Blondie-Wan Posted March 31, 2015 Posted March 31, 2015 (edited) Argh, accidental post. Nothing to see here... Edited March 31, 2015 by Blondie-Wan Quote
Rijkvv Posted March 31, 2015 Posted March 31, 2015 I don't see a James Bond licence (to kill), unfortunately. Jeroen Ottens made a James Bond car which he posted on Lego Ideas/Cuusoo, but it was removed: Lego decided that this model associated with a brand that didn't match theirs. Too violent I suppose. Quote
lightningtiger Posted March 31, 2015 Posted March 31, 2015 I guess LEGO would feel that a character who kills, drinks things shaken not stirred and beds any beautiful young woman isn't the best thing to link to a children's toy ? Quote
Robert8 Posted March 31, 2015 Posted March 31, 2015 (edited) I'd like ot see The Muppets in LEGO form Edited March 31, 2015 by Robert8 Quote
lightningtiger Posted March 31, 2015 Posted March 31, 2015 I'd like ot see The Muppets in LEGO form Well, that would not be a problem since they are owned by Disney and LEGO has the deal with Disney.......my wife would love a Miss Piggy ! Quote
npgcole Posted March 31, 2015 Posted March 31, 2015 I'd like ot see The Muppets in LEGO form I've always wanted to see Muppets LEGO also! They should have done some sets to tie in with the movies. Quote
Dorayaki Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 Being a third party property of DisneyTM wouldn't necessarily help getting into LEGO. And overall, due to all those muppet heads, a Muppet theme need the same cost as Simpsons, but not sure if it's strong enough to appeal the same market. I would love to get them, though. Quote
danzoid Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 I always wanted a Doctor Who or Simpsons theme, I emailed LEGO years ago about Doctor Who! But, anyway, they are both made/getting made so happy days! But back to the topic, a Halo theme would be fantastic, however, it's military so I doubt that would ever happen unfortunately. But, nevertheless, the amount of sets they could build...Warthogs, Pelicans, Covenant vehicles, whole armies fighting! Oh well, at least there're MOCS. A Walking Dead theme would be pretty good also but I know that'll never happen! A license based on the Batman Arkham series would be gorgeous, the styles of the Arkham games are beautiful. Quote
Balbo Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 A Muppet theme would be awesome Furthermore I would love to see Asterix theme Quote
danzoid Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 The Muppet theme seems rather popular. Someone did, however, post a set idea on Lego Ideas about a year back but was rejected for some reason... Quote
