gedren_y Posted August 21, 2016 Posted August 21, 2016 If you want a Willis, why Red, though? Gimme a modular Nakatomi Plaza instead! Well, it's not just him. Mary-Louise Parker John Malkovich Helen Mirren Brian Cox From the first movie: Morgan Freeman Karl Urban Ernest Borgnine Richard Dreyfuss Julian McMahon From the second movie: Anthony Hopkins Catherine Zeta-Jones Byung Hun Lee Neal McDonough --------------------------- Another Bruce Willis movie I'd want sets for is The Fifth Element. Also based on a comic book. Quote
LegoRomania Posted August 21, 2016 Posted August 21, 2016 (edited) I want Duck Tales sets. Reboot coming next year: http://vignette3.wikia.nocookie.net/disney/images/4/41/DuckTales_2017_Poster.png/revision/latest?cb=20160725130750 Edited August 21, 2016 by LegoRomania Quote
Deadshot Posted August 21, 2016 Posted August 21, 2016 (edited) I wish they had a line for licensed video games (And tv/movies, I guess). If only one 20-40$ set per franchise. Would love to have an official Mass Effect set or The Last Of Us. Probably MOC-sourced like Ideas (With a lower vote requirement) to gauge which franchise would actually be worth their time. I mean, they made a BBT after all. Obviously wouldn't be able to do really dark/mature themes, but I'd be happy. Edited August 21, 2016 by Deadshot Quote
Bugbot2008 Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 (edited) I commented a while back on this thread regarding my dream LEGO theme, Disney’s Atlantis: The Lost Empire. Since then I went ahead and made a wave of 6 sets for myself based on the movie in the style of official sets. They are all rendered in LDD. If you are interested you can view them in detail in the thread here: http://www.eurobrick...howtopic=139312 Edited September 1, 2016 by Bugbot2008 Quote
craggy Posted September 2, 2016 Posted September 2, 2016 There are a lot that would be really cool, but I couldn't see fitting. And a bunch I'd like but know we won't see as they're properties owned or licensed by competitors. Love K_Tiger's Paradisa Vice suggestion. very surprised there's been no A-Team Van announced, especially after the Mr T Dimensions fig. There's quite a few franchises that could work well for one or two sets. Ideas site is rife with them. Personally I'd like Gundam but Bandai don't seem particularly interested in trying to market beyond Japan. Quote
The Architect Posted November 3, 2016 Posted November 3, 2016 I think this is in the right place . If you could have Lego make a theme of your choice what would you want? I'd love to see a Transformers Generation One theme with only a few minifigures but the transformers done really really well! Quote
Exetrius Posted November 3, 2016 Posted November 3, 2016 Title is slighly weird, but this topic is essentially what you are talking about: Quote
The Architect Posted November 3, 2016 Posted November 3, 2016 Yes fair enough, I just thought to make a topic for more personal preference than anything. Quote
J_C Posted November 4, 2016 Posted November 4, 2016 (edited) Modular industrial. It is all about cafés, restaurants, glamorous metropolitan lifestyle. I want: Steelworks, chemical plant with tons of barrels, reservoirs, pipes, nuclear power plant, car manufacturer plant with assembly line. Also modular agriculture: serious modular farming buildings. Edited November 4, 2016 by J_C Quote

We have City life so why not Rural life? Farms, ranches, crop-dusters, water wheels, combine harvesters, livestock transport. Theres a lot of possibility there. Quote
Svendp Posted November 4, 2016 Posted November 4, 2016 World of warcraft :) i know this is very simular to LotR on fig level, but yet so different in scenery Quote

notpennysboat Posted November 4, 2016 Posted November 4, 2016 I'd like a TV Theme to bring more Pop Culture. In this TV Theme, we could have some scenes from TV shows or movies like The Nanny, Once Upon a Time, Buffy, Lost, Dexter, Desperate Housewives, GoT etc etc etc..... But it's just a dream Quote
danth Posted November 4, 2016 Posted November 4, 2016 Neo Classic Space or anything like Elves with normal minifigs. Or something like Friends with new Fabuland figs! Quote
BMTHbuilder Posted November 5, 2016 Posted November 5, 2016 Steampunk designs. . I love Sea Cow but never managed to get it and it's too expensive now! Quote
Alpinemaps Posted November 5, 2016 Posted November 5, 2016 A fairground theme. A true fairground theme. Not partial theme. Not a Grand Carousel years ago, and then two years of a single item, and then a Friends subtheme. I want a dedicated Fairgrounds theme were we get a couple of items each year (maybe a big set, and two medium sized, and three small sets). Quote
Esvald Forceswoop Posted November 18, 2016 Posted November 18, 2016 I've seen a really similar topic about what themes would you like to see in LEGO. Now here I'll let my dreams even looser about themes that never gonna happen: - World of Warcraft: From Piloted Shredder across Piloted Sky Golem to a giant Stormwind City playset I'd love to have iconic sets and minifigures of the Warcraft universe. An inn with Hearthstone reference would be an instant day 1 buy for me. - The Elder Scrolls: One of my favorite game series (well mostly Skyrim), this has a rich lore and lovely design. - Various anime series: While I like many of them, I do not think they would able to produce sets. At least not everything, especially those with stories which takes place in the real world or a world really similar to the real world (Mirai Nikki, Fate/, Death Note). But a minifigure line similar to the collectible minifigs would be awesome. From Sakata Gintoki across Kirigaya Kazuto and Kaname Madoka to Edward Elric I could have all my favorite characters. As a bonus, there could be larger creatures and characters as exclusives such as The Skull Reaper or Igneel. One theme, which is anime's Star Wars for me, Galaxy Angel could have it's own line. I see enough material in it. Given that the best Star Wars sets are mainly vehicles, Galaxy Angel could shine. The Emblem Frames, the Transbaal Navy, the Val-Fasc vessel... there are many ships to choose from. Too bad besides me no one knows about it haha. And that's why, licensing aside, anime themes will never happen. Even the most famous ones are nowhere near to the fame of Star Wars, Harry Potter or the DC/Marvel universes. - Game of Thrones: Just because I really like the world and its characters (mostly), and I could easily mix it into other fantasy themes. Nothing beats a meeting in the 'Hearthstone Inn' between Shiroe, Kayaba Akihiko, Eddard Stark, Varian Wrynn and Brelyna Maryon. Ah well, at least we can still make some of them, in form of MOC's. Aside from those characters who have extreme hairstyle/color. Quote

Aside from those characters who have extreme hairstyle/color. So. Much. Yes. Although I have never played WoW or Elder Scrolls games, I think I would love to buy LEGO sets based on them. I love extravagant medieval fantasy characters with cool (magical) weapons/artifacts and mythical creatures! If you could get the player community to buy the sets, it should be a profitable line. However, an original LEGO theme of this concept would perfectly fine with me as well. Concerning the anime series, I would LOVE this so much! Just thinking of it gives me goosebumps, man! There are simply so many characters I would love to get, I'll list them under the spoiler tag: Edit: that doesn't work out at the moment... Mystogan, Jellal, Gajeel, Natsu, Erza, Mirajane, Zeref (Fairy Tail) Shiroe, Akatsuki (Log Horizon) Saber, Gilgamesh, Archer, Lancer (Fate/Stay Night) Luffy (One Piece) Kazuto, Asuna (Sword Art Online) Mikasa, Eren (Attack on Titan) Saitama, Genos (One Punch Man) Kamina (Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann) Kaneki (Tokyo Ghoul) Alucard (Hellsing) Ryuko (Kill la Kill) No way that it would be possible to get all of those, because of licencing issues and lack of interest among the TLG core target audience. If I could make those in a purist way to some extent, I could live with that. The problem lies often in the face and the hair style, it hardly ever looks right. I am quoting part of an earlier post of mine: On 16-9-2015 at 5:35 PM, Exetrius said: Instead of making licensed sets from all kinds of anime (with all the cool characters), it is probably safer to make a few different parts packs. These packs would be similar to a concept that Lego has used in the past with Bionicle: a bunch of masks in a blind bag or bin, a few different designs, a lot of possible colours per design. A quick search on Google gives some fantastic examples of it's collectablility. Using the 'Bionicle pack'-concept, it is possible to create hundreds of characters, without a single license! I tried to come up with a few iconic, yet generic, manga/anime hair designs. I'm not a graphical designer so it may look crappy : Anime inpired Lego hair pieces by Exetrius, on Flickr Imagine these in the colours of the Lego spectrum, like Earth Blue, Bright Green, Dark Red, Black, White, Reddish Brown, Bright Pink, Medium Azure, etc.... The heads should have different styles of eyes (oval eyes, 'sharp' eyes, big and small eyes) in different colours. All heads double-sided, male and female, different expressions (happy, sad, angry, blushing). I think that would be fantastic! I still think this would be a really nice idea. Also, notice how #3 and #8 have (more or less) already appeared in Disney CMF Syndrome and TLBM Harley Quin. Edited November 19, 2016 by Exetrius Quote
