November 20, 20168 yr Inspiration for this scene was verse from "Rozmowa liryczna" (it could be translated like "Lyrically Talking", "A Lyrical Exchange" or "Poetic conversation") - poem by Polish poet Konstanty Ildefons Gałczyński. In Polish it sounds: "A za oknami śnieg. Wrony na śniegu." I found only amateur translations, and all are rather far from lightness of the original phrase. One is: "And there is snow behind the windows. And there are crows." Second: "Though there is snow outside and crows on the snow." Third: "In spite of snow and crows on the snow." Fourth: "With the snow outside. Crows upon the snow." The last one is probably closest to the original. Anyway: And it comes with light function (see my Flickr). November 20, 20168 yr Threw together this little tale of a tundra hunter: This raffle is one of my favourite Christmas traditions!
November 20, 20168 yr When I think of snow, I think of a completely white landscape. There's nothing to see for miles except a single reindeer walking in the distance... slowly making his way to Echo Base. :)
November 21, 20168 yr One of my favorite associations with snow: Sledding! (Jumps too - the more air the better ) I look forward to this raffle every year! Thank you CopMike!
November 21, 20168 yr Quote Lovely, Blue Wren! Would you mind enlightening me on the part you used for the left-most tree on the back wall. It does not look familiar to me. Keep clicking those bricks together! Thanks Withacee. For the little tree on the left I used BL part 47501, 'Vehicle fairing 1 x 2 stepped with two pins'. November 22, 20168 yr "Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!!!" Challenged myself using only my office stash of parts (two 70123 Legendary Beast sets), not my biggest build , but it narrows down what I want now: Some crispy snow to cover everything, since its so dark without it! @CopMike : Thanks for hosting this great raffle once again, your the best!! @ the rest of you: "may the odds be ever in your favor" !!

November 22, 20168 yr Well, this probably isn't my ideal snow, but I know my wife would like to go skiing. Thank you once again for hosting this raffle again, Mike. It's still amazing to me how you can pull something like this off every year! Edited November 22, 20168 yr by MiloNelsiano
