F-72 Hakawai

I feel like a little kid among giants here, but thought I'd share my only space MOC besides the one (pitiful) build I had for AG. Hoping to break more into this genre, thanks to all the inspiration provided by you space guys.

Now, if only I could somehow mash the space and castle genres together into one super-awesome genre. Cuz, you know, that would be killer. Maybe I could call it Nexo or something like that. Well... now that I think of it, that's a bad idea, and would probably just piss off both space and castle builders. A man can dream, though.

Anyways! Here is the F-72 Hakawai. A space-flight-capable VTOL fighter, it has deployable tail fins to assist with atmospheric flight (I think). In VTOL mode the Hakawai is capable of fulfilling a close air support/gunship role. In flight mode it is capable of interceptor duties in both terrestrial and galactic environments.

This is really cool, ME!

I really like how you incorporated a modern fighter look with futuristic detailing! The color scheme is perfect for this (I especially like the olive green and earth orange elements). Forward-swept wings have always been appealing to me, and you realized them perfectly. The (VTOL propellers?) in the wings add an interesting element to the operations of the spacecraft. Allowing for movement on the tail fins is a great idea.

I would like to see more space builds from you, but I do not want them to take away from your spectacular GoH builds!
