Posted January 13, 200817 yr Hi everyone. This is my first post on Eurobricks, and what a way to begin. I started taking an interest in Lego (again) sometime only late last year, and Lego City was my favourite. I had a few castle sets when I was a kid, but sadly, they didn't came along (for reasons unknown to me) when we moved houses over the years. I bet the garbage collector got a very nice surprise when he opened up some BIG cardboard boxes way back in November 1988. Urgh. Anyway. On the last day of 2007, I picked up a box of Aquaraiders 7774 during the post X-mas sale at the local Lego shop downtown. Two reasons why I did so: (1) It was 40% off retail price, and (2) there was a nice yellow submarine which I had an idea of it being transported on the back of my 7900 truck in my would-be city. The yellow of both vehicles will complement themselves nicely. Anyhow, when I opened up the box at home to begin 'raiding' the bricks, The instruction booklet cover (above) looked tantalising enough. Okay, let's opened it up. Sidenote : Well I don't know about other people's building styles, but I don't flip through ALL the pages of those booklets when I start. When it comes to those instruction manuals, yours truly went on mechanical mode immediately and begin on Page 2. Bad mistake. Because, when I was on page 31... ...THERE WAS NO PAGE 31! And pages 32 to 46 as well. 17 pages of missing instructions!!! It appears to be a genuine error in production. Notice how the firm stapled inprints did not suggest some weird Lego employer bent on reinventing half-completed yellow submarines around the world. Another horrifying image of brick-brain deadness (below) : I've called the store on numerous occasions, who told me they'll get back to me when the Local Lego Company gets back to them - you get the drift - and I've scour all possible online manuals from Brickset to Lugnet - but to no avail. A good friend suggested Eurobricks. To cut to the end, here's my plea : "Would anyone out there be kind enough to scan pages 31 to 46 from the 7774 Instructions? I will forever be submersed in your oceanic kindness". (well it does sound corny alright, but at least I tried). Many thanks for reading this. Like I said, what a way to introduce myself. :-$ Regards, Jai
January 13, 200817 yr Try the LEGO website or Bricklink And welcome to Eurobricks and back to LEGO! *sweet*
January 13, 200817 yr First off, may I say welcome to Eurobricks ! :-$ And secondly, well, I can't be of much help, as I dont own the set personally. And I don't have a scanner. I have, however checked all my resources and such, and to no avail - nothing to help you either. All I could suggest at this point is to check out some in-build reviews, to try and peice it togeather (no pun intended) ;-) Try a fellow eurobricks member's review Here Or peruse brickshelf and see if you can find any useful pictures? :-$ It's either peicing it togeather yourself from random pictures, or waiting untill a very nice person helps you out, or untill one of the mainstream sites gets it up. I know im not much of a help, but hey, I try.. Maybe you should introduce yourself in the 'Hello, my name is..' forums, aswell? :-$
January 13, 200817 yr Try a fellow eurobricks member's review Here That's the review of the very member who posted before you... X-D
January 13, 200817 yr That it is *wub* And I took the liberty of pointing it out to him before the real creator did! :-D ;-) Hey, it shows some in-build steps (my favourite kinds of reviews!) So I figured it might be of some use in the case of missing instructions :-$

January 13, 200817 yr Welcome to EB! I also use Brickley's Words for manuels. But sometimes also this site (not as good quality but loads faster) though they don't always have new sets. This is pretty weird though, I would ring LEGO about it. It shouldn't happen... 8-| Dr. Brick

January 13, 200817 yr This is pretty weird though, I would ring LEGO about it. It shouldn't happen... 8-| I agree. Even if you found your instructions now, I would TLC know about your problem. Normally they will send you another manual. Btw.: welcome to EB! X-D
January 14, 200817 yr Author I agree. Even if you found your instructions now, I would TLC know about your problem. Normally they will send you another manual. Yup. I did just that. Call Lego directly. They told me they'll send in one soon, but the yellow bricks proved too irresistable to be left alone at the whims of an incoming mail. Thanks again! :-D
