BaneShake Posted July 21, 2016 Posted July 21, 2016 The one from the promo images of the movie shows him dangling off the side of the Lowrider with a purple coat with looooong tail coats trailing behind him. I'm curious if we'll see that version. I can almost guarantee we will. If Joker is the main villain (which I think he is), he'll have several appearances, and probably more than one look in the sets, to increase desirability. Quote
Tygurah Posted July 21, 2016 Posted July 21, 2016 I'm kind of hoping we'll get Phantasm as well, her design was amazing. Quote
Airbenderfreak Posted July 21, 2016 Posted July 21, 2016 I'd love to get Phantasm, I could compare to my purist version. Quote
Robert8 Posted July 21, 2016 Posted July 21, 2016 In a weird way, Harley Quinn's hairpiece doesn't look like LEGO to me. Quote
Littleworlds Posted July 21, 2016 Posted July 21, 2016 I just saw the sets for the new films on The Brothers Brick. Is it just me or does the Jokers car looks like something Zimos from Saints Row 3 would have used? Quote
Deathstroke77 Posted July 21, 2016 Posted July 21, 2016 $50 is a joke. I can barely see me wanting to pay £40 over here in the UK. It is a cool set, but that's not worth it. But that Batgirl fig is so awesome, looks exactly like her 1960's appearance; should fit nicely with my 60's Batcave. May just have to get it in the sale. The other 2 figs look pretty cheesy - I know it's a line made for kids, but those 2 figs just look odd. If the prices are that extortionate for every one of these sets, I don't see myself buying many of them. Rather hoping for a normal DC wave to soften the blow, considering these sets don't look fantastic at all. Quote
x105Black Posted July 21, 2016 Posted July 21, 2016 (edited) The Kabuki Twins could be useful minifigures for me. Robin's glasses are so goofy, I might just have to get this set. Also, those mentioning the Phantasm, I'd love that. Edited July 21, 2016 by x105Black Quote

Fuppylodders Posted July 21, 2016 Posted July 21, 2016 I haven't been bothering with the DC sets as they haven't interested me. But after seeing these 2 sets and the minifigs that come with them! I'll definitely be getting those 2 sets for sure! Quote
Agent 86 Posted July 21, 2016 Posted July 21, 2016 I really dislike that Batmobile! But, I quite like the Joker's car, especially since it comes with Harley Quinn and Batgirl. Quote
BrickFit26 Posted July 21, 2016 Posted July 21, 2016 The lowrider is amazing. I want it. Both good sets, but that lowrider set my favorite. Quote
Hexagonical_waffles Posted July 21, 2016 Posted July 21, 2016 Maybe there are multiple robins in the movie and the main one is dick Grayson but this set has the Carrie Kelly Robin. Because it looks exactly like her. Exactly. Like. Her. Quote

Also if it were a girl there'd be lip printing... Edited July 21, 2016 by strangely Quote

Because it looks exactly like her. Exactly. Like. Her. I can imagine a Batman fan club consisting of a bunch of children. And we are introduced to them like Incrediboy was in The Incredibles. With one of the Robins showing up randomly and trying to help, but gets rejected by Batman. Edited July 22, 2016 by LegoMcBoss2004 Quote

Hexagonical_waffles Posted July 22, 2016 Posted July 22, 2016 Well it doesnt look like dick grayson Quote
Master of Fear Posted July 22, 2016 Posted July 22, 2016 Since the kabuki twins are from The Batman. What are the chances of us getting a Rag doll? Quote
strangely Posted July 22, 2016 Posted July 22, 2016 Well it doesnt look like dick grayson Other than the goggles and red boots this is pretty much 60s Dick Grayson. Usually he has black hair, but 66 Dick Grayson had brown (I'm sort of guessing they went with brown so the black goggles would stand out more). There's info out there on the story reason for the goofy looking costume. Quote
cendiaz Posted July 22, 2016 Posted July 22, 2016 have to get me both sets, looks amazing especially the minifigures. Joker's car could be my primary target. Looking forward to seeing other sets and the minifigures. If I'm not mistaken, Bane is big fig in this movie. Saw it briefly in the teaser. Quote
BrickJagger Posted July 22, 2016 Posted July 22, 2016 (edited) The Lowrider is incredible for sure. I like how the Batmobile is a very unorthodox take on the vehicle, it really contrasts well with the Lowrider and adds to the general zany atmosphere of Lego-themed movies. Edited July 22, 2016 by BrickJagger Quote
Actor Builder Posted July 22, 2016 Posted July 22, 2016 I'm not sure how I feel about the Batmobile. It's just okay, to me. I don't hate it. I like the one in The LEGO Movie better, but this one is also a Batmobile. Quote
BrickFit26 Posted July 22, 2016 Posted July 22, 2016 And Robins eyes do look like he's a powerpuff lol. It works though. Quote
gamejutzu Posted July 22, 2016 Posted July 22, 2016 (edited) I think it's cool that we have all these new hair pieces being introduced with each LCU movie. Like here, we have twintails, sidekick hair, and psycho hair! Kind of makes me expect anime hair for the Ninjago movie... Hopefully... Would be good for customs... strangely Posted July 22, 2016 Posted July 22, 2016 (edited) Finally saw the images of the Joker set on Twitter. I couldn't tell what that mark on Harley's face was previously but now I see it's a tattoo. I sort of like Joker's facial expressions, but I don't know, it sort of reminds me of the Juniors/Mighty Micros faces, so I don't really know how to feel about it. Love the torso, even his buttons are skulls (just like on his tie). I'm intrigued by the molding for Batgirl's hair. It looks like it's being swept to one side like there's a breeze or like she's moving. I guess this means this version will be able to move it's head to a greater angle than the last one. Hopefully we get more pictures soon. $50 is a little steep, but I love the car and minifigures so much. I don't see myself getting the other set though. The vehicle is cool, but they've given us so many bat vehicles in the past I'm not sure I need anything more on that front. Likely Batman and Robin will appear elsewhere, at best only their facial expression seem like they might be exclusive to this set. I don't need the other three minifigures either, though the Kabuki Twins are slightly tempting. Maybe one day if there's a sale on it... Edited July 22, 2016 by strangely Quote
