I've seen the bane drill in the background of the Captain Boomerang fight scene. But I can't find the truck. I couldn't seem to post the picture but watch this video instead around the 3:40 mark. https://youtu.be/KskSBYDUqYo Quote
wesker Posted October 9, 2016 Posted October 9, 2016 Two-Face looks pretty bad up close. I wasn't too happy with the orange/purple version that came with the first wave of sets and was hoping the new one would be a good replacement, but I guess I'm going to have to wait a while longer. I don't really like Poison Ivy's new face either. I'm guessing the shape of the eyelashes are supposed to be influenced by Uma Thurman's mask in Batman & Robin but it only gives the face print that anime look that the Clone Wars minifigures had. Her hairpiece looks fantastic up close though! Wish we could see the other side of it because I'm curious whether this one also has printed leaves in it like her DC Superheroes and Minidoll hairpieces do. The videos make it looks like she does but would be nice to get some confirmation. Bruce Wayne, Alfred, Penguin and Riddler all look fantastic though! Can't wait to add those characters to my collection. Quote
Nsk97 Posted October 9, 2016 Posted October 9, 2016 We had better get an actual question mark cane with the riddler this time! Quote
Robianco Posted October 9, 2016 Posted October 9, 2016 I don't think it helps that Two-Face figure that the hair isn't on straight. I think once the side of the hair is brought round it'll help shape the scarred side of the face better. Ivy's eye make up was obviously done by the ghost of Amy Winehouse (actually with the beehive vampire hair it'd be a pretty good Amy). It does make the eye shape a little odd though, similar to Juno from the Rogue Shadow set. Quote
Robert8 Posted October 9, 2016 Posted October 9, 2016 (edited) My god.... It seems Poison Ivy is about to perform at the Moulin Rouge Oh it is just me or Alfred's coattails piece is hard plastic? Edited October 9, 2016 by Robert8 Quote
LRDark Posted October 9, 2016 Posted October 9, 2016 Is it just me and my wishful thinking, or is the webbing on Penguin's umbrella a separate piece that slides onto what would otherwise be a great piece for Riddler's cane? Quote
Alien Hand Posted October 9, 2016 Posted October 9, 2016 Yeah, that Two-Face is a little strange. Not sure I'm too keen on Catwoman either - it will be interesting to see what a proper full costume version looks like. Its funny they let her have a utility belt in Arkham. Overall, I'm not sure how I feel about this Arkham set. I'm not a collector of the sets or buildings. Arkham looks awesome, but I'm just not excited to get all these villains in orange jumpsuits. Maybe they'll grow on me. As it is, between all the movie sets and the CMF series, I'm bracing myself for the the onslaught. I've been thinning my collection down just to make room. Quote
Legocity2713 Posted October 9, 2016 Posted October 9, 2016 Delta.customs posted a close up pic of the Riddler in his green question mark suit on his Instagram. Pretty cool fig. :) https://www.instagram.com/p/BLWR1ISjBgw/?taken-by=delta.customs Quote
CM4Sci Posted October 9, 2016 Posted October 9, 2016 (edited) Looks good - that'll be the one in his car set, I think. Edited October 9, 2016 by CM4Sci Quote
TheBrickBuilder14 Posted October 9, 2016 Posted October 9, 2016 That is one fantastic figure! Looks to me like the one in the Arkham set might have a different expression which would also be nice. Riddler is definately my favourite villain from this wave from what we've seen so far. Two-Face and Catwoman (why a purple mask?) are ones that I absolutely don't like. Quote

Robert8 Posted October 9, 2016 Posted October 9, 2016 (edited) Purple outfit was her original costume. And she wore a dress back then It seems they are combining designs from different sources. Mr. Frezze looks like the BAS version, Penguin is from Batman Returns, Catwoman is from the original comic, Harley Quinn looks similiar to the Asylum version, etc... And Joker is brand new Edited October 9, 2016 by Robert8 Quote

Also don't fear - all the villains above (except for Two Face AFAWK) come in their own sets. I love it! I really like the face, and the hat with some hair. The suit is pretty good too but no leg printing? Edited October 9, 2016 by Captain Nemo Please don't quote pictures Quote
GentlemanJoker Posted October 9, 2016 Posted October 9, 2016 (edited) He has the same face as the Arkham set, but I really don't mind because it looks great! Edit: Those batman expressions are amazing! Edited October 9, 2016 by GentlemanJoker Quote
Robert8 Posted October 9, 2016 Posted October 9, 2016 That's Batgirl's utility belt, right? And is upside down Quote
CM4Sci Posted October 9, 2016 Posted October 9, 2016 They're the same piece just flipped and turned backwards Quote
mediumsnowman Posted October 9, 2016 Posted October 9, 2016 Love that suit, especially the arm printing! I think combining these figures with some of the more classic ones can create pretty much the perfect villains. Quote

The way the hip piece goes both up and down at the sides seems to indicate it's moulded rather than just a fabric 'skirt' that folds down from the hip studs. Quote
Deathstroke77 Posted October 9, 2016 Posted October 9, 2016 Riddler looks great, but his face is another story. I'll probably get one of the older Riddler's face and swap it out for that one. Batman looks ok, but I'm not much of a fan of the wacky face expressions. I know that's how it is for the movie, but I like my stern looking Batman, personally. Quote
