Ok. Why did he had to take it down then? It is still on everywhere else...

Curious too. The pic is still up on Brickset. I've left it up on Brickpicker since it's there.

I knew the Penguin's hat looked familiar but I couldn't remember from where

It took me an eternity to figure it out, but it looks like the exact same piece

Why are they so repressive? The debates here are a huge promotion for free. Why repress that? I'd understand as long as the "older products" are new on the shelf & should be the focus of costumers. But at this point? I'm really curious what's the strategy behind this move supposed to be?

I agree. I mean, it's only a polybag. It's not some huge D2C set they've been trying to keep under wraps. It's not exactly like people are going to raving about it either, it's only a poly, and it hasn't got any exclusive fig in it or anything.

The reason is simple. They have a marketing plan, with certain things designed to be revealed at certain times to beat promote the series. Stuff coming out early like this could lead some to look at the polybag and think "oh, that looks garbage" and suddenly their opinion is set.

It's about controlling the flow of information so that it works best for them.

Of course the other answer is that stuff like this is largely automated, so if it hasn't been released, systems automatically flag it. So they actually might not care at all

Yep. As petty as some people may find it it's totally up to Lego what gets released and when. If they feel they need to issue a removal notice (however futile) then that's that.

This wasn't automated, it was a request from the LEGO themselves distributed through LEGO Ambassadors or somethin'.

Can we still talk about the contents of the polybag or is it just pictures that are just flagged, cause I was wondering if anyone who was more familiar with the lore of the phantom zone what the build could be?

Although I'll admit Superman comics aren't really my area, I do have a good knowledge of DC comics and I am fairly certain there has never been a robot similar to that in the phantom zone or in the comics universe at all. I am assuming it is a Lego creation similar to the Lego Movie's micro managers.

My guess is some kind of security bot. It reminds me of the security bots from the Guardians of the Galaxy Kyln scene and as the Phantom zone is also a prison it could be just that.

That would make since for Batman to be at it if it acts like a prison in the movie

If he appears, it would be a reasonable assupmtion that the card would be printed on, as that is a key feature of his appearance.

Brickset has summer listings up.

70914

70915

70916

70917

4 sets for the summer? I can live with that. So long as they're not all as expensive as the summer wave for the lego movie. I think the cheapest set in the lego movie 2014 summer wave was $60. Also what about 70913?? Is that a winter wave set??

Oooh any word on what they might be? ;)

One of them has to be the Bane set. He is driving something like a tank in the trailer

No idea about the other 3
