A few days late, but if you still want to know: There was nothing new in the text. It would translate to: "Last week there were three new LEGO Batman Movie Sets presented at the New York Comic-Con. Now pictures of the first polybag called "The Batman Movie: Batman in the Phantom Zone" (30522) have surfaced. The pictures - they show the front and back of the mini-set - were postet by a seller in an US-American forum for classifieds/small advertisements. The Batman minifigure included in the set is equipped with the new belt that has already been seen on the officially announced set. Further details like availability, price and number of pieces aren't known. According to our informations there will be a lot of promotional sets when the "LEGO Batman Movie" comes out. So it stays interesting!" There's no mention what forum they mean and no link to any source. Quote
tikiwarrior Posted October 15, 2016 Posted October 15, 2016 So a new Joker variant appeared on an eBay listing. The hair, head and pants are the same as the version that comes with the Lowrider, however the torso features his purple jacket. Can anyone confirm if this is legit? I rewatched the most recent trailer and it matches his torso (starting at the 1:55 min mark). Quote
CM4Sci Posted October 15, 2016 Posted October 15, 2016 Yeah I'd assume we're getting normal purple Joker in a set or three. Quote

Normally the saying is one or two. So that's exciting to know I really love the hair mold, it is really really well textured! Quote
BrickFit26 Posted October 15, 2016 Posted October 15, 2016 Joker looks great. And that hairpiece Quote
jjr_2009 Posted October 15, 2016 Posted October 15, 2016 I definitely love the hair piece. I'm not a huge fan of any of the previously released hairpieces that have been used for the Joker. This one looks perfect! Quote
Invincible_LEGOMAN Posted October 15, 2016 Posted October 15, 2016 Great figure! Seems like there will be a third Joker set in the winter wave! Quote
Foxes Productionz Posted October 15, 2016 Posted October 15, 2016 http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/The-LEGO-Batman-Movie-MiniFigure-The-Joker-2-Faces-In-Hand-Have-It-1st-/172374121521?hash=item28224c5c31:g:ihsAAOSw4shYAAvW I can post a link to that right? Anyway I don't think he is the final figure, because he doesn't have printing on the back of his torso. Looks good apart from that, much better than the lowrider version. Quote
Robert8 Posted October 15, 2016 Posted October 15, 2016 Yes, that "normal" purple Joker comes in the Scuttler set, along with Poison Ivy Quote
LegoShroom Posted October 15, 2016 Posted October 15, 2016 Shouldn't that version of the joker have coattails?? Quote
benderisgreat Posted October 15, 2016 Posted October 15, 2016 Really like this torso for a Joker, but face is pretty bad! Good thing that this head can be replaced with standard Joker head from DC Superheroes, to make a good Joker! Quote

I think this face is an okay alternative but doesn't work outside of the Lego movie universe. Quote

So, I wouldn't be surprised if this was the final figure. Quote
Marvel_Geek8 Posted October 15, 2016 Posted October 15, 2016 This version of joker looks good, the goofy face is something I'm going to get used to. So we're getting five jokers in these sets, guess he will be the main villain then. Quote
8BrickMario Posted October 15, 2016 Posted October 15, 2016 Boy, I've missed a lot. 1. I love Ivy's hairpiece, and her makeup doesn't bother me at all. 2, Riddler having only a patterned jacket is fine by me, many suits don't have patterns on both pieces. 3. Am I the only person who appreciates Two-Face? He's new, and he's got the whole melted-plastic thing going on, which is really neat. I'm sure we'll get a "classic" version someday in the main sets. Fake CMF series...I'm glad it's not the real thing. I imagine this new one will be just as good as the others. Cheap(ehhh...) new Batman minifigures is ALWAYS a plus. Quote

I like two-face, I feel like he is a reference to the fact that billy dee Williams played him in the older movies. And the skull is something I love and is a new touch. Quote
LegoShroom Posted October 15, 2016 Posted October 15, 2016 So, exactly 3 years ago today we got the official names of all of the standard release sets for the Lego movie (though then again TLBM sets are set to release on Jan 1st whereas the Lego Movie sets released on Dec 1st). So do you think we'll be seeing prices and names anytime soon or in a months time (to account for the 1 month later release of TLBM sets compared to TLM)??? Quote

I've got the previous two versions so it's nice to have a completely different variation of the character that still has some link to the existing Batman universe. Quote
coronaking Posted October 15, 2016 Posted October 15, 2016 I'm torn concerning Two-Face (haha). He's my favorite Batman villain, so I can't wait to be able to get a new Lego version of him. I'm also all for diversity in media and like that they were influenced by the Billy Dee Williams version that Tim Burton tried to create! But I'm much more a fan of the realistic takes on his wounds. Rather burnt skin and hair loss (like in "The Dark Knight") than bright colours that make no sense (like in "Batman Forever"). But I don't suppose the characters from a Lego movie targeted towards a very young audience are going to be realistic. Quote
TheBrickBuilder14 Posted October 15, 2016 Posted October 15, 2016 Now I know that we are not to discuss the leaked image of the minifigures anymore but I must talk about an observation that I have made. The Excalibur Batman in the leaked image is the exact same as the Batman figure that we are getting in the dimensions pack even the sword is identical, several other figures like for example Harleen Quinzel and Joker in jumpsuit are also figures which we know for a fact that we are getting in the Asylum set and boxing batman suit in the batcave set etc. So my idea is basically this; what if the leaked image does not portray (or not entirely atleast) the minifigures from the CMF but just from all the sets in general? You think it's realistic for someone to survive in the state that Harvey Dent was in and not suffer an infection, be able to speak, and not be in continuous pain? Quote
Pulp Detective Posted October 15, 2016 Posted October 15, 2016 Wait a sec....that leaked picture showcasing the cmf is fake?? Quote
CM4Sci Posted October 15, 2016 Posted October 15, 2016 12 minutes ago, LOTR34 said: Wait a sec....that leaked picture showcasing the cmf is fake?? Here is my stance on the alleged CMF picture: I think it's real. I think that it's a very very early, in-house preliminary design shown exclusively to some people, which is why it has an old logo and figures that we've seen Because it is unfinished and very early, some figures have changed since then. I think about 80% of these figures are in the actual series (the new ones) and the ones that we have seen already were originally going to be in the series, but have since then been put into other sets instead. Things like Excalibat's belt are not in LDD (yet) so I think they used some sort of advanced LDD to make some of the pictures while the rest at the time were only sketchups. Also, Red Hood looks like he uses Mr. Freeze's helmet (which I think is clever) so that's another reason why. So basically I think yes, it's legitimate, but at the time this was a super early, unfinished, private photo. Quote
