I actually quite like Joker. For a kids film where he's going to be more lifelike than in the animated shorts or games I quite like the silliness to his grotesque nature. As others have said it at least gives very original and new parts to create your own ideal Joker.

I actually think Riddler's mask print looks a little worse. It looks too squashed on the face. Ivy's eyes are something I'm going to have to wait and see on. They remind me of Juno Eclipse's a little as I don't like the eye make up defining the eye area and making the whole eye look like a pupil. Maybe once we see how that's animated in the movie it'll help adjust how my eyes see it.

I really like Poison Ivy's face. It reminds me of the Uma Thurman version, which is of course an over the top and ridiculous version of Poison Ivy, but perfect for a comedy.

Joker's face I'm kind of split on. I think the teeth are too much, the rest works for me though.

Since we got a list of the Summer sets for Star Wars, does that mean we might get a list of names for the summer sets soon?

We haven't even got the list of names for the Winter wave. Like the Lego movie, TLG are keeping this one tightly under wraps.

We only got set numbers for the summer sets. And I feel like we won't have any significant news on January release sets until like next month.

We're still not entirely sure on the release dates of the first LBM wave. I've seen Lego give three different answers.

We do have some rumours for the sets though

There's still supposedly a killer croc swamp set with tarantula and zebra man

Riddlers car with kite man and calendar man

Batwing with poison ivy and Gordon

and a new cat woman cycle chase

As for the mini figures, there's supposed to be 20.

6 batsuits (maybe reggae bat, winged avenger, mariachi etc)

4 neutral characters (possibly Gordon, Alfred, bullock etc)

and 10 villains (two face, captain boomerang, clayface etc)

How clayface? He is a brick built figure and he is big, not a minifigure.

Well, Clayface in the comics and games can change his size. It wouldn't be surprising to see him appear in his big form and also as a normal-sized minifig, I guess. The way he was in the past "Lego Batman" games.

Let's not link to images that have a big old confidential mark on them.

Incidentally we already had this terrible image discussion a few pages back.

Talk about the stuff we know about, not sketchy looking photos--thanks!

Anyone got any idea of when we will see the new Arkham Asylum pictures?  I mean I know we've seen the interior in a video but I'm talking about proper HD pictures.

I wouldn't expect any new pictures for January release stuff until November, unless there are leaks. Since we got pictures last month for the November release, I would give it around 2 months before pictures.

Batwing with poison ivy and Gordon

Just to clarify :classic:

The Scuttler is not the Batwing. It's a mech. Looks like a bat in this position:

Image result for bat

And the minifigures are Joker with the coattails outfit, Poison Ivy riding a mini monster plant, Batman, Barbara Gordon (with the Arkham Asylum outfit), Commissioner Gordon and Robin with civilian clothes (I don't know his real name here)

Dick Grayson. This sounds like an awesome set, any idea on possible price?

I think it will be more expensive than the Batmobile and Joker's car

So more than $60, yay more of my money gone. As long as the build looks good I'll get it, this wave is getting really expensive.

Sorry, the rumour I heard was the batwing. That sounds cool tho

They'll have to do something different with the Gordon in the cmf series then, perhaps in his detective clothes?

New from delta.customs on Instagram

don't if there's any other primary source

Either in the cmfs or the car set. Probably the set though

The handcuffs make me think it's a getaway car, makes sense with random villains (calendar man, kite man, riddler) trying to escape from arkham. So pleased we don't have another spandex skin suit sporting riddler. At last! A respectable foe!
