To be fair, it could be that his head in this combination of smiles is exclusive.

To be unfair, maybe this figure is exclusive because it's laced with a mind-altering radiation that makes you susceptible to Illuminati mind control. You never know.

He's holding two batarangs that's why he's exclusive :grin:

It seems this figure is the same as the Mr Freeze one (except for weapons). I decided to just do a quick chart for which head comes with what minifigure.

Batmobile - stern/uh? expression

Batcave - stern/uh? expression

Riddler Car - stern/uh? expression  -  not sure

Mr Freeze - happy/angry expression

Clayface - happy/angry expression  -  not sure

Magazine figure? -  happy/angry expression

Tartan Batman - happy/angry expression

Vacation Batman - happy/angry expression?

Joker Balloon - grrr?/???? expression

Killer Croc - grrr?/???? expression  -  not sure

Scuttler -

Arkham -

Some of thse are just guesses. Feel free to add what you think the other sets/minifigures use for a head. However, it seems clear that the happy/angry expression (Mr freeze set) is the most common/generic head. This could change though.

Lego batman has two bat ears on his mask, two is the number of eyes people have, there are almost 8 billion on earth, earth has 7 continents, 7+3=10, 10-7 continents =3, a triangle has 3 sides, the illuminati symbol is a triangle, coincidence? I think not. Lego batman is illuminati confirmed. (Sorry for going off topic mods)

I suppose. If they really wanted a Jafar, though, they could've done it in series 1; that piece, or a very similar one, has been around since '10, with the Pharaoh CMF.

Ahhh, see, I didn't know about the Pharaoh CMF having that staff (haven't added him to my collection yet). I thought the staff was a new piece ... thanks for the heads up!

Is there any particular reason why Calendar Man, Kite-Man and Lady Gaga Magpie are with the Riddler?

Are they related somehow? I've reading about them and I didn't find anything

No, but why not just put them together :grin: I'm not complaining, because that's a first time that we've ever gotten four villains against one hero.

Yeah!!! It is officially midnight which means it is Nov 27th! I just ordered the Batcave from S@H and am getting the free snow globe with it. It's actually my second free snow globe but I didn't want to brave the mall again in the morning so online I went.

Today I found the Mr. Freeze and Batcave sets at my local Walmart. Wasn't expecting that. Sadly after this Black Friday, I'm all out!

United States right?

So, is this how it'll be every year-America gets winter wave early, summer wave late while UK gets winter late, summer early?

On a different note- does anybody know the other figure or figures in the Arctic Roller? Penguin and Bats are pretty much a given. It's the same price as the Riddle racer so it could have up to three additional figs. I mean we are missing Clock King, Polka Dot and Quilt as well as the possibility that Gentleman Ghost was moved to this set.

However the riddler car is rather small and underwhelming. For the Arctic roller, I reckon we'll get a better build and fewer figures. Gentlemen ghost seems to be a good fit for the arctic roller though.

Thanks, that makes sense

So I see that thebrickfan and brickset are saying that the sets are available in Canada? Went on L@H and now they are saying that all of the new sets are unavailable in my country. So I'm waiting until my store opens to call.

Not availlable here, in Quebec...   :angry:

i found the Mr Freeze Ice Attack At Toys R us yesterday. There was a shelf full of them. I waited about 20 minutes in line to check out, even though I figured they wouldn't sell it to me. When they refused to sell it and told me to come back the next day I gave the manager some serious attitude until they sold it to me. It was very out of character for me, but I was having a bad day. I went out this morning to Walmart, Target and a couple of Meijer stores but didn't see the sets anywhere. I have a 20% off coupon for Meijer so I was hoping to find the Batcave.

Gentleman Ghost and Clock King kinda fit with the set, especially if they go with the BAS version of Clock King

Everyone's been doing this, so here's my two bits:

Dick Grayson: I am going to keep an open mind here, but so far, I am definitely not a fan of this version. However, since the parts are definitely reusable for other versions of Robin, as much as I don't like him, I can't really say anything bad against him. The Shark Repellent Bat Spray is a must-have, anyway. :tongue:

Barbara Gordon: Like the new Robin, I am going to keep an open mind here, but so far, I am definitely not a fan of this version. However, since the parts are definitely reusable for other versions of Babs and/or other police officers, as much as I don't like her, I can't really say anything bad against her. The Bat-Signal button thing, like Robin's bottle of Shark Repellent Bat Spray is a must-have, as well, so here I am. Definitely going to pick up more than one, I hope.

Jim Gordon: Like the new Robin and the new Babs, I am going to keep an open mind here, but so far, I am definitely not a fan of this version. However, since the parts are definitely usable for making the Commissioner, amongst other figures , as much as I don't like her, I can't really say anything bad against her. The Joker Wanted Poster, just like Robin's bottle of Shark Repellent Bat Spray, and Babs' Bat-Signal button thing, is a must-have, as well, so here I am. Definitely going to pick up more than one, I hope.

Zodiac Master: The new silver crab seems to be pretty good, but, on the other hand, Lego never seems to be able to do a perfect underwear print, so I'm not going to be 100% happy with this guy, but hey, what can you do? *Shrug* March Harriet: I would've preferred the Mad Hatter himself, but she's a pretty good replacement. The fleshy arms with the bronze straps will be useful, one can never have too many white hands, and I think even her face and costume (sans bunny helmet) could be reused as well. She's worth picking up just for the machine gun, in my opinion.

Eraser: Not much to say here. I think a pencil mini figure accessory was almost required here, and Lego didn't deliver. Still a nice minifigure, and to be honest, that new headpiece is driving me nuts and it seems to have many applications, so I'm only going to partially complain. :tongue:

Calculator: Wow. Perfectly faithful to the original, and looking pretty good, save for the somewhat excessive shoulder armor. I think I'm one of the only people in the thread who doesn't love the 07734/hELLO message on his helmet. It has the corn/cheese/camp necessary for this series, but I think that the helmet itself, screen and all, might've been overkill. I would've gladly taken a blank screen printed on top of his head, but that's just me.

Mime: Pretty accurate, but once again, Lego never seems to be able to do a perfect underwear print. Going to be a real pain in the neck to customize, but well worth it, I think.

Orca: As with Calculator, a faithful re-creation of the source material. 'Nuff said.

Tut: I'll grant that he's a fairly good rendition of the Victor Buono version from the late '60's, but there's been more done with the character, especially in recent years, so I'm definitely going to sit on the fence for this one. I want to say "probably", if only for the snake and staff.

Catman: As I said before with Calculator and Orca, I like the fact that this character is an accurate representation of the source material. Plus, the brown boots can be used for Wolverine, and as for the stubbly Bat-Man face, whereas everyone else has been saying Bat-Fleck, I scream BAT-MAN OF ZUR-EN-ARRH! *Ahem*

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Asylum Joker: A lot of people have said how he's only good for the hair. So many Lego fans throwing out perfectly usable Arkham Asylum jumpsuits makes me sad
Nurse Harley: Some people have said that it's an subtle insertion attempt at Arkham Asylum's Harley, and personally, I think it's possible, but it seems like it'd be far too obvious and there'd be more outcry if that were a confirmed case. Either way, great figure, and very much in line with the character.
Red Hood: Maybe it's just me, but the whole bow-tie armor thing with the big clunky head seems a bit weird. In any case, I plan on customizing it with the Nexo shoulder armor in red and a smaller helmet. From what I can see, the suit looks reusable, and I want to see how they did the mini-fig head itself. He's worth picking up just for the hand guns, in my opinion.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Vacation Batman: The goggled-helm seems pretty cool, as do the arms, legs, and rubber ducky. I'm in.

Lobster-Lovin' Batman: The lobster, and, as one eagle eyed viewer pointed out, tomalley printing, are the best parts here. The smoking jacket has so many uses, I can't even begin to start listing them.

Cave Batman: This, along with the Pirate and Tartan Batmen, remind me of the historical Bat-Men that we saw in a Batman: The Brave and The Bold episode entitled "Time Out For Vengeance!" Hope they keep up that theme.

Glam Batman: I think that some of the Batman variants are getting excessive, but hey, purist Lego KISS anyone?!

Fairy Batman: With the number of Batsuits/variants that we now have, just given the movie, what with both the CMFs and the Bat-Cave set, I'm tempted to start singing a very specific P!nk song, aimed directly at TLG: "Just give me a reason, just a little bit's enough ..."

(Pink/P!nk pun fully intended, especially given that this is Pink Fairy Suit Batman)

Pink Power Batgirl: I like the fact that she doesn't have a cowl, as we can get the full Babs movie hair, sans attachments of any kind. :excited: Her parts can be used for a pink ballerina or something, and that pink Bat-a-Rang is beautiful in and of itself.
