Same here, the batcave is alright, the minifigures are awesome but the AU price is absolute crap. We get charged an extra 30 US dollars.

Yeah, it's $130 Canadian which is absurd. I'd go on Bricklink to find Bruce and Alfred but knowing my luck they'll be overpriced as hell.

I've heard multiple different claims about Clayface Splat Attack being $35 or $40 does anyone know for sure? It looks to me as if it would be $40 and with the piece count it seems justified.

Well in Australia the scarecrow set is the same price as the Mr Freeze set.

I think its really just that the whole Arkham video game universe has gotten to me. :grin: To me those are the definitive versions of the characters so I prefer a more aged Hugo Strange. Maybe not even aged but more "stressed" I suppose to the point where is does have wrinkles to go with the gray hair. Y'know someone who is cold and ruthless because of the years of experience he has under his belt while in Gotham: studying, training, watching the Bat from afar before finally going in for the kill; not some spring chicken tackling Bruce just for the heck of it.

But anyway, as far as the torso goes, I think that an Arkham "A" would make the print stand out even if it is just on the name tag and also maybe a strap on his Doctor's scrubs would look good with some button detailing. I mean especially compared in this series where everyone is just so detailed with new molds, high quality prints and such he just looks too plain. You cannot have a white and black minifigure without any special printing and expect it to stand out personally. Even Dr. Hibbert in the Simpsons CMF wave 2 got more printing. Anyway, I only care so much because if we get Hugo as a minifigure I don't want it to look like he has been cheaped out on. Just my 2 cents of course though. :classic:

Just watched the Scuttler review (brickshow). It seems a lot better when you understand the functions. Didn't know that the front legs could extend. Anyway the price tag ruins another good set.

Isn't the set $80? $80 for 775 pieces and 4 exclusive minifigures is perfectly fine.

So I was just trying to draw the Scarecrow from the movie for something that I'm working on and I just realized that the legs that come with the scarecrow in the pizza surprise set is actually the ones we'll be getting in the summer. I've been looking at the trailers and the poster and they're actually the same one!

Well if you convert CAN currency to US currency, it's 97 dollars. So if you just look at it initially it looks like US is way cheaper, but in reality the Canadian price is 3 dollars cheaper

Even with 13% tax it comes out to $109.61 USD. Which is only 40 cents more than the price in Tennessee, for example.

Whatever the difference in price is, it is too overpriced. Would be worth it if it had a vehicle platform like the '06 batcave. They could've cut out a chunk of pieces from the duck-mobile for that if they wanted to as well. It's crazy how they made two great looking Arkham Asylums but they can't make a batcave nearly as good as the original.

THIS. I would've sacrificed Penguin's vehicle if we got a turntable, or even sliding doors like the 2012 Batcave.

I like Penguin's vehicle, but I agree that he didn't need something that big. They could've just made him a little speedboat or something with a minimal amount of parts like the Ultra Agents boat in the Portal Hideout set. That way we could've gotten like a dock for the Batboat or the turntable you guys were talking about.

A turntable with sliding doors would have been ideal. They could drastically reduce the size of the duck and scrap the Bruce into Batman feature as that offers no real play value. Literally Bruce has to go into the batcave and then get changed? The 2012 one (which I sadly don't own) had a way better function where the entrance to the batcave automatically transformed Bruce into Batman.

I took my 2012 Batcave apart recently since it was taking up too much space and just left the Batcomputer section intact, but that Batpole feature was the hardest thing for me to take apart! That was such a neat mechanic!

I'm not sure who it is that you're talking about. If you go directly behind Joker in a straight line, it's Poison Ivy, but if you go off to the right on a diagonal, but still directly behind Joker, it's the Gotham City mayor whose name escapes me right now. Behind Scarecrow are Zan and Jayna; The Wonder Twins, who first appeared on Super Friends back in the '70's and '80's.

Might be Montoya, as some have speculated. YES! I see him too! I don't think it's Polka Dot Man, because I can tell that he's wearing a cap or hat of some kind, and that is definitely white, as are his arms, but his torso and other parts seem to be darker colors. Guess we'll have to wait for either newer posters or the movie itself.

Absolutely! I think his torso could function as the 'injured' torso of any shirtless, fit white male, and that description alone really shows how infinitely useful it might be.

March Harriet is really nice, but you're right, it's frustrating that we don't have a Mad Hatter, especially with her, although I think she could open up the door to him later on down the road! Zsasz would have to be cleaned up, and that might not be possible, given Lego's target audience, and Zsasz's nature, so I hate to say this, but I think he's off the table. Lego's Chinese Gangster smirk face and plain shirtless flesh torso from Indiana Jones have worked well thus far, and the Mutant Leader has a similar shirtless torso, but with scars, to boot, so a purist version is very possible!

As for Ventriloquist and Amygdala, I'd say they're possible, but go for customs in the mean time.

Batman, Robin, Batgirl (Barbara Gordon), and Alfred, and possibly that cop in the far back, along with Montoya/Julia Pennyworth/Chief O'Hara (we don't know yet exactly who this is yet.*), on the far right, and Commisioner Gordon, given the fact that they made the poster at all.

In other words, the definitive protagonists are Batman, Robin, Batgirl (Barbara Gordon), and Alfred, and possible protagonists are the cop in the far back, Montoya/Julia Pennyworth on the far right, and Commisioner Gordon.

Villains, L-R:
The Mutant Leader, the Kabuki Twins, Hugo Strange, Mr. Freeze, Poison Ivy, Joker, Killer Croc, Penguin, March Harriet, Captain Boomerang, Riddler Scarecrow, Bane, Catwoman, Mime, Two-Face, Harley Quinn, Clayface, Blight/Doctor Phosphorus/Atomic Skull (we don't know exactly who this is yet either), and Man-Bat.

Citizens of Gotham:

If it turns out they're not protagonists, that cop in the far back, and Montoya/Julia Pennyworth on the far right get demoted to citizens of Gotham. The mayor is seemingly the only definitive citizen in this poster.

Justice League members, L-R:

Hawkman or Hawkgirl (hard to tell which is which), Flash, Black Canary, Green Lantern (Hal Jordan), Aquaman, Tarantula II, Green Arrow, Zan and Jayna; The Wonder Twins, Wonder Woman, Superman, Martian Manhunter, and again, Hawkman or Hawkgirl, (hard to tell which is which).
