Well I am not trying to be critical. I legit love how Clayface looks. I embrace the fact that he looks like a lump of poo with arms. Not only is he good value, but his design is great! He will have to be on display with the other great figures from this movie - Fairy Batman, Glam Metal Batman, Lobster Lovin' Batman and Vacation Batman.

Also, congrats to @Master of Fear for reaching 100 posts.

I honestly think Clayface turned out really well! Perhaps it's simply a matter of expectation because what I expected was far smaller and less detailed. I think what we got looks really great and provides a surplus of medium nougat parts. I'm also glad they included a hammer arm to swap out. The only things about the set I'm disappointed in are the minifig selection and the fact that it isn't hinged in the corners of the mouth so it can be opened and closed.

Yes it is a shame that the mouth doesn't have better expression possibility. Looks pretty easy to modify though.

This was posted a while back - it is @CM4Sci's MOD of Clayface. It provides a clever and easy way to open Clayface's mouth.

It is a shame that we didn't get a minifig version of Clayface to sit inside (like the Hulkbuster) as then it would add more playability to the set, being able to open up and close the body to place the minifigure Clayface inside. Or perhaps Clayface could trap Batman inside!

Anyway, the set is still excellent!

Good point. Didn't really think of that. It would also cause the torso to be really weak, due to the fact that it would have to be hollow.

Totally agree, I`m not feeling a lot of love for some of the sets I`ve seen reviewed (the over-sized Batmobile looks like it was designed by Eddie Munster!, whilst he was on an acid trip!, o.k. it`s zany and fun ,but just not my thing!) ,........ but I am really looking forward to Clayface.

To be completely honest, I completely love the clayface set! It's one of my favourites from the whole line and clayface is a never seen before villain in lego, which makes the set even better. A poseable mouth and an extra figure would have been nice, but oh well.

For me, Clayface looks... Cool but he could be better. I don't like facial expression, it's like frog. Arms are bad too. 2 stud shooter arms and 1 hammer arm. If they that gave us 2 normal arms, 1 hammer arm AND different facial expression or maybe posibility to change facial expression, the set would be great. But we have got that so for me set is not good at all. Only price is great and in Poland it's so good, it's the same price as Riddler Racer

I like Clayface more now, and might get him on a sale. I still wish the mouth could open like in the trailers and I wish he had at least one normal hand. A normal hand, stud shooter hand, and hammer hand would be amazing.

Guys can you help me? I don't know what set I want to but. I have 5 options.

1. 70907 and 70900

2. 70907, 70900 and 70902

3. 70907, 70900 and 70903

4. 70907, 70900 and 70904

5. 70907 and 70908

I would go with either option 3. or option 5. myself. It depends on which figures you want and which builds you like really. On day one I'm planning on getting: The batcave, the batmobile, clayface, riddler racer, balloon escape, catwoman cycle chase and the mr.freeze set.
