At a guess, I'd say they didn't want sets that won't be released for a month or so appearing on Shop@Home when people are doing their Christmas shopping, or something like that- if you saw you only had to wait a couple of months for these sets, you wouldn't spend on the 2016 wave of Super Heroes sets (which I imagine LEGO would want to sell at this time of year)- after all, who'd pay more for a set with Killer Croc when a far better version is appearing in just a month in a slightly cheaper set? I think the reason people in the United States are still seeing them is because the four sets on their Lego Batman Movie page are already out there in time for the Christmas season, while the others were just sitting around convincing people to save their money and come in a month's time, which I imagine isn't good for business.

They could also be tweaking the prices, but probably (hopefully?) not by much- I can't see them making the sets too much more expensive, as they'd want people to see the sets as good value for money otherwise no-one would buy any.

Getting back to Clayface- it's odd, but I actually kind of like the frog-like face and stubby little legs, they give the model a lot of character, and I think that the decision to go brick-built makes far more sense for the style that the film's made in (as a bigfig or minifigure wouldn't be able to shape-shift otherwise). The Clayface figure worked in the LEGO Batman games because minifigures in the game weren't as solid and so the animation was possible, but that wouldn't have worked in the world established by The LEGO Movie. I'd say my biggest problem with him is actually the arms- I wish they'd given him ordinary hands, or thrown in a second weapon hand (a spiky mace-like one?) rather than just the stud-shooters. Don't get me wrong, this is a great set if you want more stud shooters, as you get twelve, but they aren't that good for much other than a play feature here.

That's amazing! You are in the US correct? If that's not too much to ask.

Yeah! Although, I'm not sure if all targets will be doing this. Normally, they don't do this but I'm not complaining haha.

A smallish avian creature told me that LEGO stores may or may not be releasing the rest of the new sets on December 26th, rather than January 1st. Dunno if it's true, but that's what the bird said.

Do you know if the avian creature was talking about the CMFs as well?

Did this bird specify if this was in the US only, or in the UK as well?

The bird did not specify, but he and I are both American, so that's all I can speak for.

The bird said everything intended to release on the first, which should include CMFs.

It was not. :grin:

Again, this isn't certain yet. And really, I suppose it applies to more than TLBM, but hey, here we are. (Incidentally, if you're interested in the upcoming free Gingerbread Man offer, there's some new info about that in the seasonal thread.)

Bought the new Mr. Freeze set today, like the mech/robot build much more in person than I expected to, wasn't a big fan based off the reviews/pics, but seeing and holding it in person has changed my mind completely.  I also combined my Mr. Freeze from the old Aquaman set with this new Mr. Freeze, and used my leftover old Mr. Freeze head to do a quick and easy (and IMO pretty decent job) custom of one of the few Batman characters left out of the movie lol, Great White Shark;

That would be awesome!

Yeah, that's already been pointed out. It appears to have disappeared everywhere except the US site.

Pointed out was that that sets were removed. Now whole theme is removed.

Clearly the sets and all traces have been removed from Lego.com. Let's not continue to bring that up again and again.

Talk about the physical sets here--not their (lack of) availability on Lego.com. Thanks! :thumbup:
