I didn't mean the whole thing, maybe just the main hall with the front of the building. The price for the whole building... I shudder to think.

The hall and front section would still probably add up to at least a hundred dollars by the look of it

Ah, maybe you guys missed the (intentionally?) funny review of the series a while ago. I can't find it now, but I think it was on Brickset. :sweet:

I remember a review, don't remember a funny review...

Not sure how I feel about Batman vs Wizard of Oz and Gremlins. I feel like this is done purely to boost target audience and advertise the films. I mean I do like the idea of the Joker breaking dimensions in the film, but I'm not really a fan of Oz, Gremlins or Daleks

I certainly doubt they're meant to boost the target audience—after all, they're only even visible in the trailers for a few seconds, and it's not like the potential audience for a movie about both Lego (one of the world's most popular toys) and Batman (one of the world's most popular superheroes) is small enough to need to advertise to whatever small number of diehard Wizard of Oz fans exist in the world. :P

We also have no idea what context those characters appear in, based on the trailers alone. They could just be easter eggs, and for all we know they might even be part of a dream sequence or something (a context that would make a lot of sense considering this version of Batman's past escapades as a Master Builder who has traveled between "realms"). It's possible they play a larger role in the plot to somehow tie the film more closely to the "Lego Cinematic Universe", but until we have more to go on I'm not going to take that as a given.

Gremlins and the WW but still no word about Polka Dots Man, Killer Moth, Ventriloquist, Mad Hatter and Crazy Quilt ?

We already got a pretty good Killer Moth so I don't think a new one so soon is necessary. I do want a Mad Hatter and Polka Dot Man though!

I just ran that description through a translator, and supposedly it says something along the lines of:

Quote

Help Batman banish the Joker with the Phantom Zone Projector in Arkham Asylum, including cells, a canteen, offices, plus a watchtower and a police car.

So that weird thing in Batman's hands is the Phantom Zone Projector! Woah. That Phantom Zone polybag makes a lot more sense now, huh.

Still no Batman Phantom Zone polybag at my Target, but they suddenly have a ton of Banana man series packs and a bunch of old Joker Bumper Car polybags and some Mr. Freeze boxes in an overflow aisle away from the regular Lego aisles. Lots of empty space on the Lego shelves.

The fins on the back of that mini batmobile look... weird to me. I know they'd be hard to capture at that size, but they still look very weird. Here's a better look at the packaging. Found this along with a review on the brothers brick website.

Le Sphinx?!

(Saw pics of Arkham already on the shelves)

"The Sphinx is said to have guarded the entrance to the Greek city of Thebes, and to have asked a riddle of travellers to allow them passage. The exact riddle asked by the Sphinx was not specified [...]"

we don't have a simple word like "riddler" in french for someone who make up riddles

That's so cool! I love language translations.

Then why not just call him by his nickname on the box? Or even his real name would work; it's Edward Nygma, but DC fans would already know that.

What about "Double Face"? "Two Face" cannot be spoken in French?

Is there any way to check if my local target has the batman cmf in stock.  I dont think there is a way to check through brickseek and I dont think calling would be much help.

Check the dcpi for stock of figs.  If the number is large (for me that is 300+) it could be worth the risk of checking. If you don't see them, ask an associate to check in the back via dcpi.

Managed to get a couple phantom zone polys and 70 bags yesterday (from one of those large displays) but only one complete set (only one joker!). I wasn't sure how much I would love the figs. But after opening I love them all, with maybe Mime being my least fave. Really impressed with this series!

I also built the batcave to work on expanding the suit rack, and while I wasn't expecting that build to be fun, it blew me away. Definitely a great pickup if you like playsets, though I can't say there is much display value.

These characters have been around for a long time. I think these are what they've always (or at least usually) been called in France.

Built the Batmobile last night. It looks great and is really big. The wheel function is very well designed and I love that it's a two-seater. The new windshield is amazing as well. It's very strong, too- my baby cousin was ramming it around and driving it everywhere and nothing broke; the wheels just moved a bit in the parallel parking mode.

"BANE SMASH PUNY BATMAN!"

I love it! Studs on the arms for the venom tubes, too. Glad we're getting him in a set. Now all I want is Condiment King...
