December 24, 20168 yr Looks good other than that white parka-like thing around his head. What's that meant to even be? It ruins the figure.
December 24, 20168 yr YAS! That Bane looks awesome. Also, for those of you talking about the Riddler's name, in Spanish there is no word for riddler either, so his name is basically "The Riddle".

December 24, 20168 yr Just left toys r is empty handed. Had every intention of at least buying the arkham asylum set, but they had it for $179.99. They had all the rest of the sets out and about 5 unopened boxes of the cmf. Thought about grabbing a box of those but they were selling them for $4.99. I know TRU usually marks up the sets, but marking up a exclusive seems odd
December 24, 20168 yr I don't understand why Toys R Us is marking up Arkham Asylum when it's exclusive to their store and retail price is $150. As far as I know, they've never marked up their exclusives before.
December 24, 20168 yr Wow, yeah that looks like a great figure! The perfect Bane for someone like me who owns but isn't too big of a fan of the comic fig and never got the TDKR one. The size, mask, design, everything is perfect. A great combo of all versions... which is really just the New 52 version.

December 24, 20168 yr Ah, I see. Still doesn't make me like it though, really, I feel the figure could do without it.
December 24, 20168 yr They got the mask right on the new Bane, but is it me or is his head lower than it should be. It makes him look a little like the Hunchback of Notre Bane. I would have appreciated a bane that wasn't hunched a bit more, but I guess everyone has their own tastes.

When you open Arkham, could you tell me how big Ivy's hair is? I feel like it might be too heavy and huge for my tastes. I can't wait for Arkham because I've always wanted one but never got one. Hey GoldenNinja, you asked, so I got some info for ya. Hope it helps. I did NOT open my Arkham set, yet, as I am waiting to buy another to combine them into one big Asylum. However, I did open and put together, the Scuttler set. The Poison Ivy in bothe sets, has the same hair piece, so it doesn't matter, and I am still able to answer your question. Her hair IS the biggest it has been, for a Poison Ivy figure, to date. It is definitely one of the biggest hair pieces out there, for a female character. In direct comparison, I have one of each in my hands now, of the last version of Poison Ivy, before this new one, and the new one. On the other version her hair would go slightly below her shoulders. In this newest version, her hair actually goes down below the BOTTOM of her torso, slightly BELOW the top of her legs. Its very long in the back. It is also a bit thicker coming out further off the back of her head, and back. Both Ivy figures have a curl that comes off the top, right side of their heads, and then hangs over the front, right side of their shoulder/torso. The newer Ivy figures curl is also thicker on top, and hangs a bit lower, too, over the front of her right shoulder/torso. So, in short, her hair is much bigger than her last hairpiece. It is thicker, longer, slightly taller, and all around bigger. There are green leaves colored, on the back of her hair, and a molded, white flower, on her left side of her hair. You may feel it is too big for your tastes, and it is indeed much longer, and bigger. I, however, think she looks GREAT, and the hairpiece is AWESOME. Based on the outfits of her, and the other figures in the Scuttler set, it seems like they were at a party, and are all dressed in fancy gowns, suits, etc. This may have contributed to her hairpiece being fuller, and made to look like she is attending a formal outing. That being said, it is the same hairpiece she has in the Arkham set, so her hair is all primped out, for jail too, lol. Again, I cannot stress how great this figure is, and her hair is part of why. Poison Ivy, always deserved long, flowing, red hair, with leaves, and flowers, and NOW she has it. She no longer looks like a villains, sidekick, but instead as a top villain, in her own right. Thank you! I really like the hair but I just wasn't sure how it would look in person. Sadly, I probably won't be getting the Scuttler so I might just put her head and hair from Arkham on the old figure's body until I can BrickLink the Scuttler figure. Thank you!
December 24, 20168 yr I really hope they do a version of Bane like this later on without the jacket. Just thinking about Nolan's Bane makes me furious, so a traditional (i.e. good) Bane without any traces of that pretentious, whitewashed nonsense would be superb. Sorry, that's the best I can do as far as talking about that without ranting On 12/24/2016 at 1:54 PM, Mat099 said: "The Sphinx is said to have guarded the entrance to the Greek city of Thebes, and to have asked a riddle of travellers to allow them passage. The exact riddle asked by the Sphinx was not specified [...]" we don't have a simple word like "riddler" in french for someone who make up riddles No, this is the january 2017 Lego catalog. They give all canadians prices, if some of you are wondering... That's so interesting! I never considered that "Riddler" would be hard to translate, and I definitely never would've thought to call him The Sphinx instead! That's such a cool name! I'm kind of interested in seeing how some of these characters are translated now!
December 25, 20168 yr Nygma is also called " l'Homme Mystère" (the mystery man) in France (And Wolverine was called for a long time Serval)
December 25, 20168 yr I love this Bane! It's a perfect mix of classic Bane and TDKR Bane. Definitely going to be one of my favorite bigfigs!
December 25, 20168 yr Does anyone know when we first heard about Metalbeard’s Sea Cow? I’m just wondering because I know that came out in February we haven't heard anything about a LBM D2C and I think it would be real weird if we didn’t end up getting anything considering what a big deal it is for Lego.
December 25, 20168 yr Something about that bane looks off... I think its the lack of venom tubes... I have no idea, but something doesn't look right.

Just googled it, and looks like the Sea Cow was only officially revealed a few weeks before its release, on February 16th. It had already been in toy stores before the official press release, though. I don't think there will be a Lego Batman Movie D2C though, because we haven't heard anything about one.
