TheLegoExperience Posted July 23, 2016 Posted July 23, 2016 Well this answers the question people were for some reason so interested in, Commissioner Gordon has a darker complexion. Quote

Legocity2713 Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 Hopefully there is a big enough chance to get Mariachi Batman, even if it is "racially insensitive". Haha, the culturally insensitive part had me laughing. Hopefully in the Batman minifig series, but if we don't get it there its essentially the new CMF 16 "Three Amigos" guy with a bat cowl Another great part was the cameo of the "Comic Con Batsuit"from the 2012(?) SDCC Quote
K_Tiger Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 (edited) Hopefully there is a big enough chance to get Mariachi Batman, even if it is "racially insensitive". That line was great. Hope the Mariachi Suit gets a CMF, but if not I've got the parts to do a heresy custom of it. Edited July 24, 2016 by K_Tiger Quote
CM4Sci Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 Ooh, the batmobile transforms. Nooo nono no no, Batwing is its own set. Quote
TheBrickBuilder14 Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 Love all of the Batmobiles that you can see in the trailer, especially digging the Batman forever one. Not sure how I feel about Gordon I understand why they gave him a darker complexion but I was really hoping to get the Gordon from Gotham City Breakout as that figure was just perfect. Still these figures all look incredibly detailed so I am really looking forward to seeing and eventually getting them for real. Quote
Legocity2713 Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 (edited) Picked up on a few references towards the end when Batman flies away and transforms the Batmobile into the Batplane Billboard reading: "Its a bird its a plane, no its just a plane. Non stop daily flights to Metropolis." Billboard in the far back reading "Got Meat?" "Lazlo's" A reference to Professor Pyg. Now thats pretty obscure too. Oh and a model resembling the recent Bat Buggy from the Ra's al Ghul set appears in the Batcave scene too. Edited July 24, 2016 by Legocity2713 Quote
Actor Builder Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 I keep having a harder time believing that we'll get all the new molds shown. It's just a whole heck of a lot of them. There are so many new characters, that the inclusion of the old Man-Bat is Also, I wouldn't be surprised if the Minifigure Series has more than sixteen figures in it. This is either going to end in a truckload of new molds, or a heap of disappointment at the lack of them. Quote
deskp Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 ^ hopefully the molds they do make will be reusable ones outside this theme. Quote
strangely Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 The Lego Movie sets had a ton of new molds, so I wouldn't be surprised if a lot, if not most, of these new molds ended up in sets. Quote
Actor Builder Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 The Lego Movie sets had a ton of new molds, so I wouldn't be surprised if a lot, if not most, of these new molds ended up in sets. I haven't counted yet, so I could be wrong, but it feels like this will have more molds than The LEGO Movie. I'll research that in a moment... Quote
deskp Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 (edited) The 2 sets shown have together 5 new molds, so 6 sets means 15 molds + CMF series usually has like 11 or so molds. so thats 26. Obviously that's not really how it works but it's something to think about. btw prince of persia with its 5 sets had 12 molds, lone ranger 6 sets 12 molds. Edited July 24, 2016 by deskp Quote
Actor Builder Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 (edited) The LEGO Movie had... 1: Emmett's hair. 2: Piece of Resistance 3: Wyldstyle's Hair 4: Wyldstyle's Hood 5: Wyldstyle's Other Hood 6: Robot Sherriff Hat 7: Unikitty's Tail 8: Metalbeard's Metal Beard 9: Lord Business' Hat 10: Lord Business' Armor (I think. Someone correct me if that's wrong.) 11: Lord Business' Legs 12: President Business' Hair 13: Vitruvian Hair 14: Vitruvian Beard 15: Vitruvian Death-Shroud 16: Benny's Anti-Classic Helmet 17: Bad Cop's Helmet And, I suppose there might be a case to be made for reintroducing Jonny Thunder's Hat in an updated color after so many years. That's 17 in the sets. 18: Abraham Lincoln's Hat-N-Beard-But-No-'Stach 19: William Shakespeare's Baldness 20: Gail The Construction Worker's Hard-Hat 21: Larry Hair 22: Larry Mug 23: Velma Staplebot Hair (I think. Someone could refute that and I'd believe them until I made further research.) 24: Wiley Fusebot Hat 25: Wiley Fusebot Beard 26: Panda Suit Guy's Panda Suit So (I think) 26 in total. That is a lot more than I remembered. Edited July 24, 2016 by Actor Builder Quote
Actor Builder Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 So far, from what I can see in the trailers, there are: 1: Batman Belt 2: Lobster 3: Robin Hair 4: BatGirl Hair 5: Alfred's Bowtie 6: Penguin's Hat 7: Penguin's Umbrella 8: Catwoman Hat/Goggles 9: Riddler's Hat 10: Riddler's Cane 11: Killer Croc Body 12: Bane Body 13: Bane Left Arm (Has a stud on it, apparently) 14: Bane Right Arm (Same Thing) 15: Harley Quinn Hair 16: Poison Ivy Hair 17: Two-Face Hair 18: Joker Hair 19: Joker Coat Tails 20: Reggae Man Hat/Hair 21: BatRobe 22: Batman Cowl with Goggles 22: Person Between Policeman and Random Person's hair 23: Random Person Beside middle person beside Policeman's hair 24: Middle Person's Skirt Plus, there seems to be a new BatWing Detailing piece, as well as a weird new banister piece (That can be seen in the scene with the cop and the two others. That's 26 right there, and not even all the characters have been revealed yet. Quote
Tech Artist Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 Here is the trailer that got removed in CM4's post: ( It is the official WB Channel)Screens from trailer of bat suits: Quote
Actor Builder Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 (edited) But more interestingly than the hypothetical new molds I was talking about earlier, are these hidden Batsuits I noticed. We can add three more to the list: Batsuit Reflections by Actor Builder, on Flickr Batsuit Reflections 2 by Actor Builder, on Flickr If you look at Robin's right eye, you can see a Caveman Bat and a Pink Tutu Bat. Also, the left eye has some red tinted Batsuit. Edited July 24, 2016 by Actor Builder Quote

And some things like banisters would probably just be new 2017 lego pieces we find in several themes. They don't all have to be specifically new for batman film Edited July 24, 2016 by deskp Quote
Zoshi Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 Look what they're asking for 60132. I may (very) begrudgingly bite full retail for the Lowrider, but unless I stumble upon the Batmobile at a healthy discount I'm just gonna BL the Kabuki Twins. LEGO has lost its ever-lovin' mind with some of these prices. And then there's Battle of Takodana, aka $60 brick wall and some figs… But yeah, I'm probably going to try for a discount on the Lowrider, but even if I can't... Anyways, ranting about pricing aside, I'm loving Barbara's new hairpiece! I really hope we get her without her mask in a set (or maybe a good candidate for a CMF?) Quote
