You shouldn't be finding them in LEGO shops yet. There's a hard release date, either the 26th or the 1st, I forget. The operative word, though, is "shouldn't".

It looks like Toys'R'Us put out LEGO Batman movie series 2 mini-figure(s). I seen two boxes, well one picked over by box left. I ended up getting two Batman(s) (the mere-bat & dolphin Batman). Toys'R'Us having buy 2 for $5, not sure how long it is going on for.

Has White fang done his review yet? In fact, has anyone published a review yet of the TLBM CMF Series 2?

Whitefang might be making his review in the new year. I am waiting for it as well :-)

strange nobody posted pictures of the figs already, right?

It was in Murfreesboro.

Interesting... I grabbed a whole box from TRU, which is probably why they have a limit on them now, but I never thought our Barnes and Noble would get them this early.

My local toy shop has them behind the till. I asked if I could have a look through them, the guy said "no, they're blind bags". Even though Lego puts bump codes on them implying they're designed to be rummaged through. In official Lego stores they are even put out on shelves :hmpf_bad:

A lot of stores put them behind the till because they get stolen otherwise. They don't want to imply that you're a thief, so come up with excuses such as 'they're blind bagged anyway' for not letting you have any except the moment you purchase them. If you ask to feel the packets while standing next to the tills, they should understand by that that your intentions are honest. I've done that at my nearest WHS and they have always been happy to oblige.

If a shop isn't willing to let you feel packets by the till, find one that does. It's surprising how customer action can change even a big company's mind. When S2 of the main CMF line came out, many branches of Argos were limiting the number you could buy per visit. The Argos near my office at the time had a limit of 4 per person. My response? Walked out of  Argos with no CMFs. Went round the corner to WHS and bought loads there instead. I think lots of people went places other than Argos for that series. Argos soon stopped limiting the numbers you could buy at once.

B&N and TRU has Batman 2018 material - CMFs and sets in WA. TRU was picked clean on CMFs due to the buy two for $5 sale.

Oddly B&N had some sets on 50% off before the holidays, but now after those same sets are at full price.

My local TRU got the 2018 sets, and within days all were sold out, then today thinking I was going to get some CMF 2, after talking to three different people finally someone tells me some lady came in there and bought the TWO boxes the store got now I guess I will wait until January since my local Lego Store does not have them yet and the rep said their hard release date is the 1st...  there goes me for being so proactive.
