So, Batgirl's hair is able to swing back and forth? That's pretty neat. I'm guessing it's attached via a peg. Hopefully we get pictures of the back of this cowl soon.

That would be cool and cool to see if its true.

Wait, what?? Why are you saying that? Did I miss something?

If you look at the Batgirl figure in the Dimensions pack compared to the one shown with the Joker's lowrider, her hair appears to be in two different positions. So her hair is likely a separate piece plugged into the back of her cowl.

Yeah, I was confused when we first got pictures of the lowrider because it looked like the hair was in different positions. But then today when the new pictures dropped someone on Reddit brought it up and yeah, her hair is in completely different positions. There's no way Lego would create multiple cowls with different hair positions. So it seems this is indeed two separate pieces.

I really have to give Lego credit for this one. The hair won't block the cape like the old cowl did. Too, we'll be able to create some interesting action poses. And for anyone who just wants to display the suit (like in a display case as in the animated series) they can likely just take the hair off (Assuming it's a peg connection of some sort, which given the rotation and the size of the piece would pretty much have to be).

Has to be like the tiara or crow pieces

That's what I've been figuring based on how far it rotates. I'm hoping they give us pictures of the back soon.

The shape it has in the Dimensions pictures seems pretty similar to her ponytail here, so I'm guessing the hairpiece for the cowl is also a ponytail.

Really happy about the hair being able to swing... this opens up a lot of customization options in the future so minifigs with dual hat/hair molds can swap out hair color, etc...

What's this picture from?

Maybe little versions of the images can be added to the first post to keep that up to date. I'm glad there's at least another way to pick up Robin so it can be converted to Carrie Kelly. Bart's catapult is already waiting.

I hope you're not implying that you'd pick up this Dimensions pack just to get this Robin. Because he's only included in a $50 story pack, so if the fig is all you're interested in you'd probably get much more bang for your buck from a different set.

I'll just see when all the sets are fully announced what the best way of picking up a spare is. At least with there being another release of the figure it may just be that the aftermarket price drops a little.

I agree. The higher the availability of the minifigs, the less I expect to pay on the aftermarket.

Do you think the sets will be unveiled at the NYCC next month?

I would expect to see at least the Poison Ivy set, since it's already on the catalog

Yeah, one set reveal would do the trick. That way, it wouldn't take the spotlight and some other theme can be shown off.

I've got a question for those who have seen the Batcave set. Is the Batcomputer in the Batcave set better or worse or the same to the one in the Dimensions Portal. Because to me it's a little too small...

Wow thanks for responding to my post two pages back! That's really exciting because I think that out of all the new Portals the LBM one is the least appealing aesthetically... I'm really looking forward to seeing the final "bigger and better" one!

I'd also like to share that in the Dimensions livestream today we saw Arthur Parsons actually remove Batgirl's ponytail from the cowl. Also on Greg Miller's twitter you can see an awesome up close, high quality look at the new Robin, Batgirl and Supergirl figures. (

Better quality than the official and SDCC pictures) Edited by Ashnflash
