Brickweiser Posted March 29, 2016 Posted March 29, 2016 When was he confirmed as one of the voice actors? All we know is Bats, Robin, Alfred, Comish, Mayor and Joker... And it's rumored the other Batmen are in it... He isn't confirmed. That's why I used the qualifier "if". Billy Dee does do a lot of voice acting these days, since it's harder for him to do live action acting. Plus he lended his voice in the Lego Movie. Quote
Actor Builder Posted March 29, 2016 Posted March 29, 2016 Two-Face obviously has both hands. I don't know what you're smoking, Robert8, but it's messing with your mind. He has two hands. Quote
retrotaco Posted March 29, 2016 Posted March 29, 2016 I mean, I double-taked at the arm too, it's definitely a frame where his hand isn't super visible. Quote
Robert8 Posted March 29, 2016 Posted March 29, 2016 (edited) Some of these figures seem to have too much detail to be in regular retail sets, more like collectible mini-figures level of detail. Agree, but which minifigures would the sets include then? I don't see this movie introducing original characters, like Wildstyle or Metalbeard The villains are well know characters, that would increase the appeal of the sets Two-Face obviously has both hands. I don't know what you're smoking, Robert8, but it's messing with your mind. He has two hands. Oh... you were asking for a new top hat I) New Top Hat - Nobody wears perfectly cylindrical top hats! You got it! Edited March 29, 2016 by Robert8 Quote
Minecraft Architect Posted March 29, 2016 Posted March 29, 2016 I Hope these all appear in sets. Quote
HawkLord Posted March 29, 2016 Posted March 29, 2016 All. I'm just going to kindly ask that ALL of these minifigures appear in sets. This could easily be a reboot of the whole Batman minifigure line. Batpocalypse! Quote
Airbenderfreak Posted March 29, 2016 Posted March 29, 2016 I wonder how many sets LEGO will release for LEGO Batman: The Movie. If it's like the first The LEGO Movie wave, then we will receive around fifteen sets plus a minifigure series. I also wonder if Wayne Manor and The Batcave will be released as separate sets or one very large set. What I do know is I cannot wait for this movie! Quote
BlockLogo Posted March 29, 2016 Posted March 29, 2016 For the Lego Movie, we got 13 sets in the first wave, one D2C (Seacow), 3 big sets in the summer wave (Emmet's mech, spaceship, dropship), and then 3 more small sets in the following winter wave, plus several polybags (4 or 5) and a CMF series. I think at least a dozen sets, a big D2C, and a couple of polybags for this movie. I'm really not holding my breath for a minifigures series, but it would be very welcome. Quote
Actor Builder Posted March 29, 2016 Posted March 29, 2016 Oh... you were asking for a new top hat You got it! Hopefully it doesn't look to oversized on figures besides Penguin! Has Two-Face ever lost a hand in the comics or films? I know he has both hands now, Robert8 helped me figure that out, but I'm just curious now. Quote
Junior Shark Posted March 29, 2016 Posted March 29, 2016 As awesome as that Killer Croc is, if we ever got him in Lego form we'd probably get the new-style crocodile head: http://brickset.com/sets/60066-1/Swamp-Police-Starter-Set Strange why his head isn't like that in the movie. Quote
deskp Posted March 29, 2016 Posted March 29, 2016 Strange why his head isn't like that in the movie. because thats not a fun injoke Quote
benderisgreat Posted March 30, 2016 Posted March 30, 2016 Batman is the biggest DC Superhero, that's why most of Lego DC Superheroes sets are Batman centric. So it would make sense for them to release the same amount of sets they released with Lego Movie. They would sell well, no matter what. Quote

Mr Greeble Posted March 30, 2016 Posted March 30, 2016 This movie could change the future of lego DC. Quote
Robert8 Posted April 1, 2016 Posted April 1, 2016 This movie could change the future of lego DC. How? Why? Quote
Actor Builder Posted April 1, 2016 Posted April 1, 2016 How? Why? Because Two-Face could have three hands. Quote
Mr Greeble Posted April 1, 2016 Posted April 1, 2016 Because it lets them make a ton of new sets and possibly a minifig series. Quote
Agent Kallus Posted April 1, 2016 Posted April 1, 2016 Will regular dc comics sets continue when the batman movie sets are out? or don't we know. because from the trailers we can see that even non batman dc characters are in it like the justice league. Quote

Only 2-3 comic sets come out per wave, so it's a possibility. Unless the Movie sets are under the Super Hero category Quote
tafkatb Posted April 2, 2016 Posted April 2, 2016 The LEGO Batman Movie will be its own theme, separate from DC Super Heroes. The regular DC line won't have Batman sets next year. Quote
Zergos Posted April 2, 2016 Posted April 2, 2016 (edited) The LEGO Batman Movie will be its own theme, separate from DC Super Heroes. The regular DC line won't have Batman sets next year. Oh cool, that will give us opportunity for other characters! On topic, I'm excited for all the variants of the villains! Edited April 2, 2016 by Zergos Quote

Ooh, that's intriguing. Where'd this info pop up? And for that matter, do we know the focus of the Batless sets? Quote

I hope that's the case,we can finally see more heroes take the spotlight this time around.I'm tired of seeing Batman or Superman be the main focus everytime. How about a Flash-centric set??And the baddy being the Reverse Flash. Agent Kallus Posted April 2, 2016 Posted April 2, 2016 In that case I hope that these non batman dc sets will be based off of the cw super hero shows that air on sky one. preferablely supergirl and the flash. Quote
