Great work on the car! Looking awesome in digital form, too.

This also looks suspiciously like an advertisement for another site.

It indeed does. In 8 out of 9 of his posts he talks about Drivetribe.

That spits LDView like that. The numbers are irrelevant for you, as it has items from:
- Cardan joint
- Shock Absorber
- Flex axes (IS40/IS41)
- Light (PF) (IS70/ IS71/ 62498c02/ 62501c01 )
- motor (PF)

- Flex Hose (80/ 79)

- Linear Aktor (42610)
- etc. . . are

Thanks so much again for making the instructions and getting the parts list done before the bricks and pieces deadline!

Do you think this can be made in any other colour?  White and Yellow would be very nice but both have some critical pieces not available in their respective colours.

Excellent!  Thorsten, from the quantities it looks like one or more of the buffer exchange assemblies may have been counted twice.  For example, the parts list shows 12 shock absorbers and 6 wheel hubs. ................   I am counting 4453 parts which seems like way too many .............

Wow, I'm glad I asked for clarification.  With the new quantities, the part count drops from 4453 to 2990.  That's still more parts than any other supercar I have, but far more believable.  I shall start collecting parts immediately.

It certainly has a large parts count, I think you built Koenigsegg One:1 which had just over 3,000 parts so a bit more than this one.

You know my collection better than I do!

Just got the order in at Lego Bricks and pieces.  Thanks for providing a list and pictures of parts list.

They seem to have a really weak selection, did you find many parts from this car off that site?

I have a fairly large stock pile of parts so normally I need parts which are not really Technic parts.  I also always stock up on things which are in stock and a bit harder to get like soft axles, steering components etc. because they are cheaper than bricklink.

This is the first build I actually had to use bricks and pieces to buy lift arms!  I just didn't have over 100 for the 1x2 and 1x3's.

I know this is another lacking Perspective view the LDView has but with LPub not. With the 2CV and the Audi R5, one sees the best. They look a lot better in the original

This creation is posted to Rebrickable for whoever has 1000$ to spare for 95% of this build! I can't believe the price of those rare red parts. The # 3 angle connector is 3.50$ For a used one on bricklink!

Thank goodness for the 8448!  My stock of #3's is pretty much gone so hopefully I won't need any for the short term!

Welcome to unfair LEGO world. Yes, some basic parts have a wrong high price due to lack of these in new sets.

I have been working on this car and have completed it to the point of a rolling chassis.  It works really well so far and is very solid.  However, I am having a problem installing the 5x11 panels on either side of the engine.  They do not fit.  They interfere significantly with the cylinder blocks.  What am I doing wrong?

Hi Blackbird,

because that panel is connected to a half bushing it is half in the way of the engine. I suggest changing the half bushing to a single bushing so the panel is in line with the side of the engine. I just placed those panels there to cover all the wires and it worked for me on a bit of an angle so I left it. I hope I was clear enough with this explanation...

Below is the photo of what it looks like. The panel is on a bit of an angle, but it covers the wires nicely.

In the photo here below, the pin is half in line with the engine. That could be fixed by using a single black eyelet in the floor.

Someone on rebrickable posted that the steering wheel turns the opposite of the wheels?

Yeah, I used a chain to connect the gears. I guess you could place a gear in-between the two gears for the wheel to turn correct to the wheels. I guess I should have figured that stuff out before I completed it :sceptic:

Thanks.  Glad to hear it is not just me but the car was actually designed this way.  I experimented with a couple of things and found a way to change the connection so the panel sits on a bit of an angle (tipped up toward the side of the car).

@Blakbird  the instructions are calling out two regular IR receivers but I don't think that will work if connecting two XL motors.  Just curious what you are using?

Yes, I am using V1.  I drove the chassis around my house last night with no problems.  It might be different once all the weight of the body is added.  Ideally, I may later convert this model to SBrick.
