JDbricks Posted November 24, 2016 Posted November 24, 2016 (edited) Hey what's up. I know it's not 100% accurate, but I mainly wanted to make it the color it is in ROTJ. (I don't know why LEGO keeps making them brown.) It still needs work (especially the front), but with the pieces I have with me, this is what I've got: "Boba Fett? Boba Fett, where?" Thanks for looking. -JD Edited November 26, 2016 by JDbricks Quote
TheBeeze Posted November 25, 2016 Posted November 25, 2016 Nice and simple. I like it. Like how you did the flames coming out of Boba Fett's Pack too. Quote
Samppu Posted November 25, 2016 Posted November 25, 2016 You have the colour right! And shapes are true to the original, for that matter. Now you only Jabba's sail barge anymore. (; - Samppu Quote
Hunter003 Posted November 26, 2016 Posted November 26, 2016 Have to say, this is great. Excellent work. Quote
JDbricks Posted November 26, 2016 Author Posted November 26, 2016 @Thebeeze111 @Samppu @Hunter003 Thanks guys! I really appreciate the kind words. Here's another skiff, 'cuz why not? Which is better? Cheers, JD Quote
VaderFan2187 Posted December 7, 2016 Posted December 7, 2016 Woohoo! That second skiff looks great! First one looked good too, nice jetpack flames :) We're getting a new Desert Skiff next year :) Quote
FishW Posted December 7, 2016 Posted December 7, 2016 Wow really great work! I like the side rail. It has a nice smooth look to it all the way through. I think the first one has a nice color scheme, though the second one is more size accurate. Both look great though! Quote
StarWars8Spoiler Posted December 7, 2016 Posted December 7, 2016 The 2nd one you made actually looks better than the 2017 official LEGO model. I know the dark tan is a more accurate color, but it looks so bland compared to the reddish brown. I quite prefer the latter. Quote

Hopefully I can get it for a reasonable price. 14 hours ago, jhaelego said: Those look really nice! 10 hours ago, FishW said: Wow really great work! I like the side rail. I'll hold my judgement 'till the set is out. I do agree that the accurate color is kinda bland, though. Cheers! - JD Quote
JDbricks Posted February 3, 2017 Author Posted February 3, 2017 I made a Sarlacc to go with it. I like it better without that huge beaked tongue. Quote
VaderFan2187 Posted February 3, 2017 Posted February 3, 2017 Not bad @JDbricks, but I recommend adding more sand around and sloped inwards to make it more of a "pit". Quote
JDbricks Posted February 3, 2017 Author Posted February 3, 2017 I only have so many sand pieces. Quote

TenorPenny Posted February 4, 2017 Posted February 4, 2017 The side rail on the second posted version works especially well. Quote
