I have to say this is awesome alternative model. It is original, good looking and super complex. Good job!

Thank you. Your opinion, as a great alternate model builder means a lot for me :)

Only online viewing of the instructions? My internet connection is not always reliable.

Exactly Andy, that is why a downloadable PDF would be great! The quality of the instructions is perfect, I just can't rely on an always on connection.

OK, I will keep that in mind if I will decide to make another model with instructions :)

Thanks! Just finished the MOC with only one change: replaced the hook with the large metal hook. Neat model with great instructions!

Hmm, did'nt thought about that hook... looks better for sure. It is a pitty that they are quite pricey these days :)

Is that a LEGO string? it looks great.

Wow what a beautiful C-model you've made. It's a shame that TLG doesn't make use off the possibility's off the original model.

It is probably same thing as with other B models in licensed sets - they have to be made by same company.

It could be worth to get a second Arocs only to build this. Excellent craftsmanship !

Maybe a simple thought... but why not dismantle your Arocs and build this one? Saves you 170 euro's.

Great job! ...

Looking forward to build it ... :classic:

may I ask which 3D software did you use for instructions? .. looking really good

Submodels are made in LDD, then exported to MLCad for adding missing parts and making steps. After that I assemble whole model in MLCad with using those submodels.

Finished model is edited in LPub (checking if steps are designed correctly, looking for misplaced and/or doubled parts etc) and after final verification exported to PDF.

Great model, good price. However, is it too much work to combine all pages in a PDF? Then i would certainly buy it. At my desk there is no internet, that's the reason.

Well, the main reason why I am using MOCplans are people who like to "have everything for free" :)

I am aware that PDF is more convienient, but it is also much easier to copy without permission. But since there's a really great amount of people who would like to have it in a PDF version, I will give it a try with another instructions.
