Posted January 15, 200817 yr Salutations from New England! 21 AFOL here. I've been a fan of LEGO for my entire life, but did that whole "Grow up and grow out" thing during my teen years. Luckily, I was drawn back in around '06, and have been watching Eurobricks and a few other sites since then. Obviously, I like to acquaint myself with a forum immensely before taking the dive into registration and contribution, but I'm ready now, I swear! I snooped around the worldwide webs for a while, and must say this community is by far the most alluring and respectful, and I look forward to being a part of it. I mostly collect Star Wars, with a little dash of town in there when I can get the spare funds. I am pretty exclusive to system as well. Anyway, that's enough about me. I hope to get to know you all in time!
January 15, 200817 yr Welcome Kukla! Well I'm new here too. I love talking about legos with people across the world and getting sneek Peek of upcoming legos.
January 15, 200817 yr Welcome Kukla, I'm from just a little below you (NY) and a year above X-D I never really had that phase in my teen years, though I certainly kept it more...er, low key 8-| Welcome to EB, I hope you'll enjoy it around here
January 15, 200817 yr Author <-- Huge baseball fan, and thusly Red Sox fan. Although admittedly, I will watch just about any game just out of sheer love of the sport. Hopefully our geographical identities do not get in the way =). Thank you both for the kind words!
January 15, 200817 yr Welcome to Eurobricks Kukla. I'm sure you will enjoy it here. And btw, you're one year younger than me. And you know what that means...well, pretty much nothing actually. lol
January 15, 200817 yr Welcome to Eurobricks! *sweet* It's lucky you didn't join earlier as we has some virus go around then and it gave everyone muppet avatars... X-D
January 15, 200817 yr Welcome to EB! Shall we expect Fran and Ollie to join shortly? (I'm not even old enough to get that reference 8-| ) "Grow up and grow out" ... a sad affliction that strikes many avid LEGO fans. Fortunately, there is a cure and you've just joined it. ;-) Stick around and we'll make sure you never have an unfortunate relapse to the world of so-called maturity. Rehabilitation Through Bricks On! *y*
January 15, 200817 yr Author I love it when people recognize my name, heh. It is before most of our times, and even predates the modern LEGO brick so I wouldn't expect too many fans of the show here. And there is absolutely nothing wrong with a muppet virus; I'd love to be plagued by muppetitus.
January 15, 200817 yr Welcome to Eurobricks! ;-) Always nice to have a new nice AFOL member. :-$ As for your login name, it's the last name of my old music teacher! :-D Thats how I recognize it. :-$ Hope to see you around the forums; and to get to know you better. You seem like a nice guy. ;-)
January 19, 200817 yr Welcome Kukla, I'm from just a little below you (NY) and a year above X-D I never really had that phase in my teen years, though I certainly kept it more...er, low key 8-| Welcome to EB, I hope you'll enjoy it around here Does this mean you never had dark ages.
