I'll second the call that Ken Adams be given due respect in regards to the Volcano Base set. I was a huge YOLT fan as a lad (I'd have to say From Russia With Love is now my favorite), and hopefully this TLC set captures the magic of that concept.

Fingers crossed "Little Nelly" also finds her way into the set!

I'm guessing that the Volcano Base must be somekind of medium-large range kinda huge volcano with that freaky weirdo DBZ guy's base inside of it. When I found the sets name, it instantly reminded me of the 6248 Volcano Island Pirate set.

Click here for the picture and description of the set.

EDIT:

Also it'll be really cool if Deep Sea Quest had like 10 of those new shark molds, but obviously, that will never happen. :'-(

Dude, you always have to expect everything and nothing from TLC. In this case, expect everything! If they don't put in sharks, I'll... >:-(

is that a lego mac! :-P

macbook air! *sweet*

one thing i find disturbing about this line is the lack of consistent color theme. it's like a mish mash of colors. it might yet provide another nail in the agent theme coffin.

is flame hair guy the leader? seems like it to me

Yes, that's Doctor Inferno. *sweet*

Well, I think the colors are pretty consistent! Lots of Dark blue, silver, and yellow for the Agents, and orange, black, and... More orange for the Infernos!

I just found some other pics with prices and discriptions on it here is the link:

agents pics

Those were already seen in Lego's 2008 Catalogue or something. ;-)

I didnt'read the whole thread, don't know if these have already been posted:

a few more (little) pics of the Agents line.

I like the barbwire, but that's pretty everything I like in this new line. I guess I'm only going to buy 8631 (yes, the cheapest set).

Dr. Inferno's henchman, Saw Fist
Break Jaw has remote-controlled sharks
Watch out for Spy-Clops

Subtle...

Actually, Spy-Clops is rather good.

Anyway, lots of new pics in my absence. First the ones *yoda* posted. I like the gold gun in the gold set (makes sense), and the plane looks rather cool as well. The snow mobile's a bit big, but never mind, easily fixed. As for the jetpack, it's rather nice, in a rtro sort of way. But how cool would it be to have a heli-pack? The bike looks nice, as do the boat and the car (chrome!). And do I see the words "ejector" and "seat" in that description? The truck looks rather beefy as well, and the large number of minivehicles is a definite plus. It's also nice to get some more good pics of the minifigs, all of which look rather cool.

The pics we've just seen weren't really anything new, but that doesn't matter. Especially as we get some set descriptions.

As for these two mystery sets, well, I only hope they're more of the same. Which means I'll have to buy them. Damn.

I got good news, bad news and a couple of updates....ready?

Bad News:

1) Dr. Inferno's hair is rubber, like the exo-force hair!!! (WHY!!?? WHY I ASK YOU!!! WWWHHHYYY!!!!???)

2) The Mobile Command Center's tiny vehicles are mad crappy. (e.g. You get a tiny, crappy jetski, and there is no water, but if you want you can add it to the set with the laser beam sharks )

3) I myself am a fan of the new barbed wire, but in a way, they look kinda megablokish.

Good News:

1) The new female hair mold is a really long pony-tail, and it's also great for a city minifig.

(Link: http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2076/227706...c248e56.jpg?v=0]

2) People have been asking if the girl in the Mobile Command Center and the one in the shark set are the same, unfortunatly they're not. They have diff. faces.

3) The new laptop is a remodded version on the crappy hairy pooper tomes. It has a molded keyboard with a sticker (UGH :hmpf_bad:) screen.

4) All in all, you get Mutt William's hair in two new colors: Orange and Black.

Thats all for now, peace.

Isn't that a matter of opinion? Besides, most sets these days with boats don't include "water". Most of the other stuff you described isn't really news, as the pictures have been out for at least 2 months

I don't mind it, al my Exo-hair says on fine. I plan on getting all these sets, they all have wonderful bits.

Gold Hunt has extremey useful (must have!) gold tiles as gold bricks, great orange pieces, an awesome jet, a gold hairpiece and gun, two cool evil henchmen, a cool car and a nice Agent fig.

Jetpack pursuit has one of those awesome and useful mechanical hand arms, which are great. It also has a cool android face, a cool agent, nice hairpieces, and decent vehicles.

Swamp Hunt has two dark green crocodiles, that awesome metal jaw piece, a nice badguy, cool motorbike, two of those great barbed wire pieces, a map, foliage galore and other nice bits.

And don't even get me started on the big sets...

The thing I like the best about the Agents line is that there is human vs. human conflict! This means that TLC is not following the rumoured agenda that they will not have humans fighting each other, which in turn means that the chance for a return of the Pirates increase...

Sorry to burst your bloodthirsty bubble, but Dr. Inferno's goons are actually cyborgs and or androids.

Awesome, I too will get them as soon as they come out. But first I need some $$$.

Aren't you the guy that said the following in another thread (that's a rhetorical question, you are)

"Too much money, more than all of you. I'm serious, i've been collecting legos for 11-12 years now (Im 13 ). Im really, really, REALLY spoiled. I used to go to tru like 3 times a week to buy legos. i have 3 huge cardboard boxes, a closet with 4 huge plastic containers, 3 drawers full of tiny pieces ( likes 1x1's and 1x2's, etc..) and waaaaaayyyyyyy more. I can just keep going on, and on and on and on and on.. I also have al least 3 boxes handed down from my multiple cousins.

Maybe like $9,000 - over a million spent on legos. (Seriously, im not making this up, im rich )"

Given your abundance of wealth, surely a couple hundred $s for the agents line would just be laying around in loose change. Or did you spend all your money buying the rights for the trademark using the word "Lego" in your sig?

Haha. Your right. What I meant to say is that, besides lego, I have more things to get. But this year and next year are gonna be very costly: Agents, Indy 4, Castle 08-09, Speed Racer + Huge Castle Chess Set etc... I want to buy all the sets from every theme . And besides, if you read, Im 13, and my parents would get me legos if I want, but I gotta start saving up $$$ myself. You know what I'm saying?:tongue:

I quite like the idea of lots of mini-vehicles. It's a mobile HQ after all. What good would it be if it was under-equipped?

2) People have been asking if the girl in the Mobile Command Center and the one in the shark set are the same, unfortunatly they're not. They have diff. faces.

What do you mean "unfortunately"? Surely different faces is a good thing?

3) The new laptop is a remodded version on the crappy hairy pooper tomes. It has a molded keyboard with a sticker (UGH :hmpf_bad:) screen.

I like the laptop as well. It's nice to finally get one, and I'm sure they'll start to crop up in sigfig MOCs soon.

I don't mind it, al my Exo-hair says on fine. I plan on getting all these sets, they all have wonderful bits.

I don't mind about the hair either. Sure, it would be nice to have a 'proper' hairpiece, but... look at it.

And don't even get me started on the big sets...

Speedboat Rescue has two agents, the metal jaw piece that looks suspiciously like a bear trap clamped to his face, laser sharks and that strangely cute mini jet-ski/boat.

Turbo Car Chase has a laptop, Spy-Clops (the baddie), a villain dangling from a rather cool helicopter, a Bond-style car in chrome and dark blue... and gadgets!

Mobile Command Centre has several mini-vehicles, the two flying things, several agents, Doctor Inferno, batteries...

The girl is a hottie.

Indeed she is

Sorry to burst your bloodthirsty bubble, but Dr. Inferno's goons are actually cyborgs and or androids.

And cyborgs are technically human (in this case).

I know. At first when I saw the preliminary pics, I was in love. That hair is is a work of art. I just dislike the rubber type hair. I would really want it in plastic.

But who knows? Maybe TLC will change it before the release date (I hope). :cry_sad:
